Do you hate people who argue till they are blue in the face, even though you know they are wrong?

I don't mind ignorant people, they don't know any better. However, you mix arrogance with ignorance and we have a problem.
No, it's worse than just a problem. They've organized themselves into a political party and created their own news station. It's less of a problem and more of a raging pandemic.

On the main topic: I don't hate them, that's silly. Though yeah, it sure is a pain when you know you are right and people keep arguing. I mean, it's not like when you know you are right, that you can actually be wrong.

On the actual topic: bahahahahaha, these threads have made my night.

Hmmmm, let's see . . .

Baseless arguments? Check.
Unnecessary insults? Check.
Liberal use of capslock? Check.

Only thing is though, the OP seems to have given up. Zeel would never give up (and still hasn't in fact, since he's still raging about us in his blog)
Hey hey hey also! Claiming sounds made from non-instruments can't be music. Meaning he's conjuring channelingedit: is the word I was looking for some Karutomaru as well.

Edit: oh damn, Zeelypie has updated his blog with more escapist hate. Neat.

Well, aren't YOU the most freaking passive-aggressive bundle of tolerance I've seen today?

Anyways, you lost me when you told me that my favorite artist isn't actually music.

<youtube=BiVe_4UVhEE>

He spent four days manually building that digeridoo sound, before the days of proper sound editors and before it was a popular thing. You're telling me that he worked for days constructing nothing?

It is very amusing to see someone acting exactly like a sterotypical student, though. My textbook told me something, and there's no wiggle-room whatsoever, common sense and sanity be damned!

I study music,

We are given a clear cut definition of what music is, what it is open to and how to create it.

Yet people argue the content of the book because Wikipedia says something different...

Who let these kids have access to the internet?

Do you hate these sort of people ?
There's a simple answer your instructor (I assume you're in a class of some sort) could give these idiots to shut them up. "I don't care what Wikipedia says, for the purposes of this class we're going with the definition outlined in the book. You can either abide by this or leave now." Liberal application of certain 4-letter words optional.

Yeah, they're very annoying when I'm trying to get through to someone. Unfortunately, I am also one of them. I hate admitting that I'm wrong because people love it when I'm wrong due to how rare it is (I'm not like an amazing source of truth or anything, I just tend to avoid arguments that I'm not well-educated in).

Even UNtheoretical physics can be subject to change, insofar as new learning expands our understanding of a subject.

Wait a minute! New learning?! Perish the thought! FIRE BAD! FIRE BAD! We don't expand horizons, romp romp!
