I've regretting buying that arthritis-machine a month since I bought it. You have more fingers on one hand than there are good games for it*. I'm just glad I saw the light and dropped Nintendo faster than the Flash on meth.

*Not counting Gamecube games.

personally my feelings toward that little white box are like those of rather massive dissapointment I mean yeah its great for parties no doubt, but the potential for it to be a true addiction of a console failed since now nintendo are always portraying it as a 'family' console.

Still I have heard of a few developers who are trying something wit ha bit more gore in it than mario which is nice but until they start chugging out the goods mines collecting dust and propping up my ps2.

pc>xbox>ps3>ps2>dreamcast>nintendo pikachu version>sega>wii

I don't hate it but it's neglected as hell. I haven't powered the thing on in about a week and before that it was a couple months.

I've been sort of disapointed from time to time, but overall i actually like it.

I think the wii controls, if done correctly, can add a very good something to a game.
I also think there actually is some very good games for the wii: zelda, mario, metroid, smash, no more heroes and madworld to name some.

There's huge shitloads of bad games, or games so focused on the youngest part of the audience, that most older people find them booring, but from what i've heard the PS3 and 360 also have shitloads of bad games, it's just the way gaming is, 90% is crap, but the last 10% is good.

I think the wii will only get better once game developers get used to it, and starts making the controlls worth gold instead of just random misplaced wii-mote wanking, on just plain bad as the sword fighting in red steel.

I really prefer the point-shooting of the wii mote compared to analog sticks ofthe other consoles, though none of them compares to a mouse IMO, when it comes to FPS i would mostly ignore that whole genre if i had a PS3 or 360, cause i almost always hate it with sticks, only exception is RE4 on the GC, which was different because all the enemies were slow you stood still while shooting, so it wasn't a problem to aim that horribly slow compared to PC FPS.

Just my thoughts on the wii

I hate my Wii so much that I gave it to my sister. My PS3 is exactly what I wanted. The Wii ended up being horrible to me. I never played anything on it for more than a few hours before getting bored and shelfing it for a couple weeks or even months.

I enjoy mine, i bought it for its purpose which is providing a new experience. The games are getting more reliant on the wii mote, which i think is appropriate and the right direction to take. Most gamers have become too invovled with their shoot-em-up-nukem-to-death games, the ones for the xbox and ps3. The wii gives me something fresh, new and -to me- exciting.

Hardly ever mess with it unless I've got company that can't play a real game.
Though I do find time to play around with No More Heroes.
Hate? Nah...
Disappointed? Hardly
I just feel perhaps it was just one system I didn't really need.

I love it as a system, its the only one of the three that offers something other than a graphical upgrade. It just does not have a good enough selection of games.
