Well, yeah. I mean, look at this:

How could I not?

His name's Goofy, for the record. He is...not the smartest dog in the world.

I used to have a cat (gotten as a kitten) called Natasha (although no-one called her that), she died of old age a couple years ago. I was one of the few people who actually loved her unconditionally. She was deaf, blind, and loved mushrooms and egg.

I have a Shih Tzu(we keep her hair short) named Jazzy that it probably about 2 or 3 years old. I normally don't like small dogs, but she is the best pet I've ever had. She is the embodiment of fluffy innocence and sweetness. She's also a bit derpy, which adds to her cuteness.

Is that Talisman of Shannara?

I kinda enjoyed that series. I think. It was probably twelve years ago when I read them. >.>

Got a ragdoll cat who helped me a lot during a time of depression I had. She can be pretty weird. Intimacy terrifies her(like panic attack for cats) but she starts purring and kneading nontheless.
Don't have any pictures on the computer, but she's almost identical to this one:

Bred specifically for maximum cuteness. The previous owners planned to use her for cat shows or some shit. Can't imagine doing that with her though since, as opposed to other ragdolls, she doesn't go limp when picked up at all. She starts kicking and struggles to get free.

I've got a boarder collie cross staffy called Bandit, he's been the best pet I've ever had and I'd do anything for him, he's about 7 years old now and far too smart for his own good. Everyone says he's a human in a dog's body :p
Images of him below:

So many adorable pets! I want to pet all of them <3 (yes, even the gecko, so cute!)

I have two cats, litterbrothers who are now almost six-and-a-half years old. I adopted them when they were three from friends who could no longer keep them.

Mah two boys! Tuffen is the fat one, Spöket is the skinny one.

Here's a link to an imgur album I set up a while back. Not many new pictures but... [link]http://imgur.com/a/JGjVl[/link]

I'd love to have a pet from kitten/puppyhood but don't have the space, energy or time.

I checked out the links and there are some cute photos there, I'm sure Bandit would love to play with them (actually play not as in food). I saw a leach in one pic, do you walk them like dogs?

I also have three colonies of different species of roaches, and some scorpions and beetles and other invertebrates.

We all live in a one-room apartment.

I've only been out with them once, last year. They're indoor cats, although when they lived with their previous owners they would be let outside during the summer when they were at their house in the country.

I might take Spöket out again, but Tuffen... Not until I get a better harness for him. Here's a crap video I made on the occasion if you'd care to see: [link]https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151144996728813&l=8714159092152634798[/link]

EDIT: got so caught up in making the link work I forgot to tell you your Bandit is so sweetlooking <3 Unfortunately I have no idea how my cats feel about dogs but I wouldn't bet on them wanting to play with him =(

I just got this lil' gal recently, about 3 months ago, within the last month finding out it's a girl.

Her name: Xarxxanagon and she's a shoulder mounted awesome Leopard Gecko. Never had a pet personally, family has had pets that I never directly took care of, so this is new, but fun.
Yay for Leopard Geckos! They are the cutest reptiles I know. Our one is called Leppy - yes, my daughter is incredibly unimaginative when it comes to naming pets.

Unfortunately as a Gecko owner you find yourself also having to look after large boxes of bugs as well.

OP - I don't love Leppy - she's cute and all that, but not exactly affectionate. But we've also got a couple of fluffball cats who are great. They're currently living in a perpetual state of unhappiness because we've got building work going on, so they're having to get a lot of love time.

You say that like it's a negative.

That sounds a lot like one of ours. She's definitely not right in the head, and she starts to dribble when you stroke her. I do love the little freak, though. (Actually, these days she's mostly adopted my daughter as her special friend so we hardly see her, she spends most of her time on my daughter's bed)

When your cat knocks the box over and you've got a room full of roach-sized scuttling crickets, trust me, that's not a good start to your day.

What species? One of those that make a horrid noise?
A friend of mine had one of them escape and then she had a noisy little bugger hiding in the apartment and making that chirping-noise for about a month.
Personally I don't keep crickets, I much much prefer roaches.

Well, I don't know about 'horrid' - I rather like the noise, it has a nice ambient rainforest feel. But then it's not my bedroom :)

The first time they escaped, we spent an entire afternoon hunting every last one down. The second time we made a desultory effort and then thought 'fuck it'. I suspect the cats ate them in the end.

Bad kitty, the first one was behaving good but 2nd one was a bad girl/boy. Well Bandit behaves so he should be good :) I love him.

Where do you keep them?

I had kept different invertebrates for 20 years and have never had anything escape.

And yeah, the noise is nice for first two days or so, after that it starts to get on your nerves.
Also since I live in a flat, I don't want to bother my neighbours with the noise.

Haha, well Tuffen rarely does what he's told and uses his size to get out of most things. He used to be a lot worse though. He was pretty scared when I took him outside so he panicked. I think with a better and stronger harness he'd at least be less likely to break free.

Bandit looks very lovable =)
