First off, specify which type of zombie apocalypse. Are we talking Viral Zombies which came about from some freak genetic accident or whatever, or the Walking Dead, the real rise-up-out-of-the-grave type zombies? If we're talking Viral Zombies you don't really need a plan other than lay-low, the government wouldn't let it get terribly out of hand, an area would be quarintined and nuked for safety. If we're talking Walking Dead my plan is to head north, to Alaska or northern Canada. Since these zombies are already dead they produce no body heat so once/if they get up there they will automatically freeze to death instantly. Then just wait a few months, again, since they're dead they are already decomposing. in a matter of several months to little over a year they will have all decomposed beyond the point of being animate.

You know the zombie survival guide thats it i need no plans. Oh and stay away from zombie what if threads they have been done so many times.

I've seen: what vehicle would you drive in a zombie apocalypse
What weapon would you use in a zombie apocalypse
What would you do if there was a zombie apocalypse
and more it just escapes me right now
(all done multiple times)
I've thought of a good one,
"Who would you stop to having 'relations' with during a zombie-pocalypse?"
Then again, it's probably been done. :D
I didn't think it was possible but you just added some originality to the otherwise same old same old zombie thread.

I'd have to go with everybody who tried biting my head off.(if i'm reading that right)

That's a tough one. No I don't have a formal plan, and the scarcity of gun would make survival a lot more difficult. Of course, being the L4D master that I am, I'd catch on to the fact that the world was ending a lot faster than the people in the movies tend to. My first objective would be to gather loved ones. Survival in groups is always easier. Next would be to gather weapons. There's lots of stuff in my garage that could be used. My weapon of choice would probably be a shovel, one with a long handle fro extra range. Lastly would be to evac to my lake house. It's in the middle of no where and any zombies that did wander out that far would be easy to take out.

It was supposed to say 'stoop', is in, how low would you go.

Glad to throw some originality in there.

Grab a a bunch of guns, gather up a team, get a fleet of land/sea/air vehicles and get ready.

Grab any nearby survivors and any makeshift weapons I can find, grab the remaining food, grab a ladder, and go upstairs. A really good barricade would be in order, so I'd probably make one at the bottom of the stairs ASAP. We'd use the bathroom sink for water, and if we run out of food, we'd most likely have to go scouting. That's where the ladder comes in; break open a window, put the ladder through it, and lean it up against the side of the house, making an easy access to get in and out without hurting yourself. A scouting team would be nessesary, so we'd go in pairs. If food (and other supplies and gathered successfully, it's back to the house.

I'm going to Alaska. Not only because that idea is from RvB, but because it make total sense. Cold weather will slow the zombies down, crap load of guns, and small population (therefore small # of local zombies)

First: Melee Weapons. Plenty of them. Guns are great, and they have uses, but eventually, you're gonna run out of ammo. A handy sword, or Axe, will last you an almost indefinite amount of time, especially against Zombies, who have no blocking capabilities. Also, no multiple-floor buildings, not without proper accommodations, i.e. collapsible ladders, rope escapes, etc...everyone's seen what happens without said accommodations in Horror movies. I'm definitely keeping guns in the picture but as a reserve system of defense. Find a place to hole up where there's an easy to guard entrance/exit, and is convenient. Reinforce the defenses as necessary and hold out, use any available communications to attempt to contact help. However, as is true with most disasters, the remaining military are going to be concerned with containment. When communicating, use fake names, or code names, as the military will almost undoubtedly, if there's a large infection, nuke the area you're in. before "Help" arrives, travel out about 15 miles, using a satellite signal camera to view whats going on. hooking up a radio mic would help too. if the area is nuked, you'll know. if not, use the mic to communicate, get found, and get somewhere safe. I've just explained how to survive a zombie apocalypse. or one of them.

Nearest body of water + boat and you're all set. Zombies can't swim, raid costal areas for supplies. Barricades are just as good as tombs.

Two things I need.

1. Bananas.

Why? Simple, to be used as traps. When I locate a safe zone, I barricade it and lay bananas around. When a zombie trys to enter my zone it falls on a banana.

Did I mention the bananas are explosive bananas?

2. A brick.

Who needs guns when I can use a mighty brick!

Yeah i did in aus need a new one, meh it was awesome involved a mates place (he has a basment that acts and a nuclear fallout bunker, his family are UBER paranoid) and yeah pick up food water from his jump in his van, we all had weapons of some form and his parents own like 10 guns, so were set for that, then just get into his truck and drive out to one of the small dessert towns and start driving from town to town stopping for supplies when we need them, but yeah not many zombies in the dessert so easier to deal with.
