Hmm... Regrets.
Not quitting rowing sooner? No because it gave me a decent enough body to compensate for my relative social ineptitude.
Any ex-lovers? No because losing each of them taught me what not to do next time.
Lying to my parents the whole time? No, they would have worried unnecessarily.
Doing it bareback before we had the tests? Yeah, I regret that, but it turns out he wasn't lying when he said he was clean so it turned out ok.

I wish I'd been less of a misanthrope during my adolescence and had more practice being sociable instead. Now that I actually want to, I have a lot of difficulty meeting new people these days and it's frustrating how others do it so easily.

I've basically forgotten how to make friends. I'm too afraid to strike up conversations because I might embarrass myself by saying or doing the wrong thing despite having the nicest of intent. How pathetic is that?

Yea...I'm sorta the same way, except I am less timid with talking depending on the person. Well, talking to girls is about as easy as winning a wrestling match with a bear for me.
