Yes. Even in CoD with LMGs, I reload after every kill unless I'm fighting still even if I just shot 5 bullets. With LMGs though, I'd run to a relatively safe spot to reload though.

Reload after every encounter, and you will live past the next.
..Most of the time.

ShockValue said:Oh yes. I reload after every kill, which tends to get me killed.
Oh yes. If I had a dollar for every time I reloaded my weapon only to have some other twat run around the corner and shoot me in the ass, I'd be playing on a XBOX 360 console made out of 24k gold.Pillypill said:I do, but i often don't see the 2nd or 3rd guy until i've already begun reloading, so i have suffered several deaths because of my habbit.
When i first played cod i never reloaded. My friend who "tutored" me on how to be good at cod (which did work btw, i am pretty decent now) always yelled RELOAD MIDDLE OF SCREEN NOW! whenever i missed a reload with few bullets left which , when trying to concentrate, put me on edge a lot. Now i reload every time by sheer instinct, like after every kill.EHKOS said:Hey, I've been playing shooters for about ten years now, and I noticed I reload after almost every kill, which is a problem sometimes. So I was wondering, does anyone else do this?
If not, what habit do you have when gaming? From clicking the analog stick, to gunning the engine in racers.
...And how do you do that?webby117 said:yup, all the time, but hardly ever get killed in MW2 due to the wonderful break reload technique, saved my butt many times
Wait, you didn't check to see the coast was clear?ssgt splatter said:Oh yes. If I had a dollar for every time I reloaded my weapon only to have some other twat run around the corner and shoot me in the ass, I'd be playing on a XBOX 360 console made out of 24k gold.

Seriously, I've done math.
True true, unless it's Gears, then god help you if anyone notices you're locked into a weapon changing animation.Some_Jackass said:I reload whenever its quiet. Its a no brainer. If Im in the middle of a fight, I shoot until everything stops moving, if I run out-I switch guns (which as Call of Duty says, is always faster than reloading)
