I do. Mostly because I sometimes have to waste an entire clip to kill someone, so I don't want to make the mistake of having only half a clip.

Reloading gets me killed a lot. I have to remind myself I don't need to do it when I still have half a mag left.

I always do, even if I only used a few shots. It's just a habit of mine. One which leads to countless deaths. However when playing bad company 2 i'm starting to teach myself I don't need to reload all the time when using light machine guns as they have a high capacity and reload slower then everything else. Regardless, reloading all the time has probably killed me more then ts saved me.

Yeah, I've got the syndrome It depends though. If there's only one guy, I'll reload. If there's a small group, I'll kill some (roughly half a clip usually), duck behind cover, reload and finish off the rest. If it's a large group, I'll kill two or three, duck down, reload and then rinse/repeat.

I have the opposite. Forget To Reload Syndrome.

I usually empty my gun and when it forces me to reload, it gets me killed.

Hey, I've been playing shooters for about ten years now, and I noticed I reload after almost every kill, which is a problem sometimes. So I was wondering, does anyone else do this?
If not, what habit do you have when gaming? From clicking the analog stick, to gunning the engine in racers.
Yes I do.

I've managed to wean myself off it to an extent, though I still find myself reaching for that reload key quite a bit too often.

hell yes, never know whats around the corner. It might require the entire clip to take down. I am paranoid that way.

I reload after every kill unless there are more than one enemy infront of me then I waste 'em all before reloading :) it's a bad habit though.

Riot Shields need no reloading. *Ahem* But yeah, if it has a trigger... I;ll be reloading a mag instinctively after a kill. Unless, of course, there are more people that demand to hold my bullets. With their faces. It gets me killed on a semi regular basis but it's saved my bacon more, so maybe it's not so bad after all... until the next guy kills me during a reload and I curse his family line.

Most definitely after every kill. None of my friends ever reload ever, so I thought I was the only one. I would always look at their clips and tell them to reload when they only had like 1 bullet left in the clip, and wouldn't do it themselves. I think it may irritate them, especially in RE5 when ammo management is crucial, and I'm extra persistent about it.

Thank god for "Rapid Hands" in Uncharted 2, and menu reloading in RE5. They've saved my life countless times.

Yeah, I have CRS and I find enjoyment in it. For example in Quake 4 after a huge fight it felt nice to stop for a second and reload all weapons. Weird, right?

in SP, if I find myself with a sniper, I aim for the head, shoot and reload
On MP, everytime I kill someone

I'll reload only after I make sure it is safe to do so. It's not worth automatically reloading after a kill only to be killed by someone else who was just off screen while you went through the reloading animation. If I recall, RTCW for the Xbox had a REALLY annoying feature where, unlike most FPSes, you couldn't switch weapons if you were reloading one of them. There was NOTHING more annoying than running around, waiting for your weapon to reload, while some guy made Swiss cheese out of you with his machine gun. You really had to be careful and paranoid in that game..

If there is nothing to be shot; reload!.... unfortunatly, I also have shoot-anything-and-everything-syndrome...

never playing games with little ammo (like te RE serries, I hear) can give you some bad habbits. Or hobbits. Depends on the game.

God yes, it's so annoying.

I'm convinced that, even if I've killed someone with one bullet and the rest of the clip is full, that one round may still be vital to my next kill.

My worst habit is doing it after I've been stunned (with a flashbang or something) so I'm reloading once the fog clears, which normally means I'm reloading whilst the enemy's standing directly in front ready to shoot.
