I have a constant Really Really Really Meant to Reload But Forgot Syndrome (it's quite stressful realizing I forgot to reload, again :p). Bless the one who got auto-reload into Team Fortress 2. Took a huge load off my brain.

Yes, Yes I do, but not only after a kill, if I acidentally shoot, reload, if I freak out about an enemy and shoot, reload. Being paranoid doesn't help here. Also, if I didn't reload, my non existant OCD kicks in and I fell like I have to reload.

Unfortunately, yes. This includes LMG's in Cod and the M32 Hammer in Uncharted 2.

Yeah, I have CRS and I find enjoyment in it. For example in Quake 4 after a huge fight it felt nice to stop for a second and reload all weapons. Weird, right?

I played a LOT of the Infiltration mod for Unreal Tournament (original), which kept track of how much ammunition was in each of your magazines. Constantly reloading left you with a lot of one-shot mags, and that game REALLY quickly broke that habit for me.

I will reload when my mag is low, or empty, not based on whether I've fired three shots at somebody.

On most games, yes.

However, in Project Reality (BF2 mod), where you do away with your old clip, I hold onto the mag as long as possible.

I used to have this problem, but now I smarter with my reloads, I still usually will after ever encounter, but I usually clear an area before I reload, just to be sure.

I reload when i know it's safe... usually after a kill, I know sometimes in online matches in shooters people might think holding out as long as you can without reloading or finding a safe looking corner before reloading might sound like a better idea... but seriously last couple of matches I've played in I've waited in certain areas which look safeish just so i could run around a corner and knife people i heard reloading... got me like 15 kills... over the course of 2 matches... on top of the other kills preventing angry people from getting their revenge on me...so yeah I'm gonna stick to reloading as soon as it is safe-ish to do so. saves my ass and lets me get more killing done

I always reload after i've used some of the ammo even if it's at THE most impractical time to do so. It's a mix between being 'ready and prepared' for the next encounter and strange OCD for having a full clip at all times.

I reload after every kill, and if it's unsafe I hide behind something and reload.

I used to, far too much. But that depends on the game, eh? in TF2, the soldier cannot reload too much, with their four rocket clip. I got BC2 earlier, and I noticed that reloading early cost me ammo, so I push it further before I hide to reload. Sometimes, you end up ducking behind a corner, swapping that clip, and somebody follows you and shoots you anyway. Most annoying, but it happens.
