Exactly. Cold Ketchup on hot fries just does not jive well together.dogstile said:It's an odd thought I had recently. Many of my friends keep their ketchup in the fridge and I can't understand why. The cold contrast between the food and the ketchup tastes weird. I like it to be a additive, not a damn game changer.
This is with Heinz tomato sauce. Thoughts?

It's a condiment, some people use more than others. I smother hot dogs in some nice room temperature tomato sauce.BTW, if you put ketchup on your hot food and the ketchup stays cold, you're definitely using too much ketchup. It should assume the temperature of the food quite quickly.
Pretty much this. I keep my ketchup in the fridge, and like the taste better.nunqual said:because it tells you to on the bottle.
