ME: can i keep my promises ?

Short Answer: NO

Long Answer: I try i really do try but i seem to be never to be able to keep my promisies although when it comes to not telling anything about something i can easily do it mainly because i don't care.

I certainly do. However, it's rather hard to get a promise out of me. I tend to be able to slide my way out of making promises, instead giving vague answers which somehow satisfy the asker. But once I say I'll do something, I'll do it. Except if I forget for some freak reason, which barely happens.

Yes... a promise is a moral obligation and I would feel guilty if I were unable to keep it, hence I would strive to keep the promises I make as much as possible.

Depends on...

1) The person
2) My mood
3) If it benefits me
4) What the promise is

That is in no actual order by the way.

i usually keep up them, i am sometimes lazy for the small promises like:"you promised me you'd buy me a beer"

I distinguish between promises and my word. Promises I generally keep though they can be broken depending on the circumstances. However if I give you my word then I will never break it as I feel I'm less credible and trustworthy. Of course I only give my word sparingly considering I know it means I will have to obey it. For instance I'd never give my word at a wedding as there will be some point where I'll fail my other half. Yeah I'm just a little bit cynical towards love in general.

I do my best to keep them yes. If not possible I will still do my best to fulfil as much of it as possible.
It is a matter of honour for me actually which is why I seldom gives clear promises and more along the lines of: If I can I will.

Yes, but I try not to make them. In general, I try to fulfill any obligations I have, and I'm genuinely frustrated when it turns out I can't keep one due to events outside of my control (like getting the flu or having a previous obligation or something.)

But I really do try to avoid promising anything to anybody. Unless I have an existing debt I owe them, I have no reason to promise them squat.
