Yes. No elaboration needed since I've answered this same question in several other threads in the last few days.

It's so-and-so. I don't get what all the excitement was about, but it's fun to play for awhile. Felt like an MMORPG without the MMO part.

The only thing I really dislike is the computer hacking. That is a pain in the ass
I agree it was just mindless game breaking guessing. it was a waste of my time and it is required at higher levels of difficulty.[/quote]

Thak You for agreeing. I don't know who decided that mindless guessing was fun. I've tried doing the strategic way and that just takes longer once get past easy skill level. So its just end up as random pick three pass word and then trying it again. It just doesn't feel like hacking. I love the lockpicking though.

Huh? I completed the game in 5 hours of game play (not in one sitting, the first three hours were done during a lazy Sunday afternoon, and the last two hours before I went to bed) on Very Hard. The game wasn't really good enough to make me want to do all the irrelevant side quests, so why did his post warrant that response?

It's got to be my favourite game at the moment. I am on my third run through. I just love the sense of humour about it, how awesome it looks, how well it plays, the adventure and most of all... how different it is from Oblivion. They are not the same game and any one who thinks that they are have got it pretty damn wrong. I'm not just speaking the setting either. I have trouble putting my finger on exactly what makes it so excellent but I think that is just because it is just so good all round. Ok, it has it's flaws but so do all games. I think that it is nearly as timeless as Morrowind.

EDIT: The music on Galaxy News is brilliant as well (this coming from a metal fan). I love how it just adds to the already bizarre atmosphere.

"Bongo Bongo Bongo, I don't wanna leave the Congo!" Hell of a song

Its not oblivion with guns, you need to actually find places before you can quick travel, you can dismember people, and there are less quests.

Lack of side quests? Huh? After I had finished it, I realized that my roomate had owned the game and hit it pretty hard for a few weeks. So I asked him where in the storyline he was. Basically, his answer was that he hadn't started yet. He left the vault, and just did side quests and wondered the wastes the whole time. And, we hadn't done hardly any of the same side quests, plus the side quests we did do, we both handled flagrantly differently since I went hard line good and he went hard line evil. Then a 3rd friend started playing, he he kept discovering new things. I think there was an obscene number of side quests.

It is an excellent game though. I miss the good old days of excellent selection of RPGs to play that aren't MMOs.

You're saying you never tried the sidequests - that I admit, aren't all that many - that would take up another ten hours of your time, then say the whole game is short? Your post is indeed insane. The main quest doesn't make up all of Fallout 3, you know. That's like doing a 9-minute speed run of the storyline of the original Fallout then complaning it's too short for your mad wicked skillz.

Love it, although it'll be some time before I touch it again. Damn you PS3 version, damn yooou!

Yes. I like it, even though it was short and had a ridiculously low level cap.
Short?
Okay, Mister Crazy. Go back to your corner now.
Compaired to the amount of time I had wanted it to take up, it was short. Also, there is no way you can deny the level cap is low.
ps. My corner is cold and i refuse to return.
Yeah, the level cap is stupid. I'm still not sure that the new DLC's level cap of thirty is enough. The game is rather long if you try to finish all sidequests, but I guess some people find them boring. Even so, Crash Bandicoot 3 will always remain the best game ever.*

I do like it on some level though VATS is quite well implemented,it isnt possible to fight outside of VATS-not properly anyway. There is a certain hatred inside of Me for the Story and lack of Humour/fun after you have blown people's heads off enough times not to care.
