I know I do. The fresh air that pine trees bring is rather soothing, especially on a cool spring morning makes everything nice and calm. Not to mention the fresh night air!

Well I once got lost in one for a week without food so...
I love them, they're pretty relaxing as long as you don't have to spend the night in the wilderness without a shelter, pretty great, the smell of pine is pretty good too, yeah Pine Forests are pretty great though I think that of any outdoors environment including the desert so what I think of them hardly matters.
[sub][sub][sub]I think I bring this up at least once a month, I really should stop now...[/sub][/sub][/sub]

Nature threads on gaming forums?! How dare you spread such heresy!

Well my house is surrounded by it so I guess I like them, then again I'm looking at it every day so the novelty really isn't there anymore.
But I wouldn't trade it for a desolate wasteland.

I prefer deciduous to coniferous personally.

Pine forests are awesome until you think 'Ah, this smells so good and the needles feel so soft underfoot...I think I'll see how the sky looks...' At which point you inevitably take an orbital pine needle strike to the eye.

But yeah, I prefer them to most other woods. even though there tends to be less wildlife.

They're lovely, especially for long romantic walks.

I actually prefer these. They're not nearly as difficult to read as the reCaptcha ones, so I can spend less time decoding warped lettering and more time reading TV Tropes.

It certainly is when sitting in the office with flu symptoms!

Well, I like all kinds of woods and nature, but I'd prefer a wood with trees with normal leaves (yeah, I have no idea what the english word for that is). They tend to be brighter and more populated by birds and stuff.

I love them. I live in the Black Hills, and there's nothing quite as refreshing as a hike through the pine forests. I do take a .357 magnum with me, because we have had instances of mountain lions coming in close contact with humans and human settlements, but I still love a nice hike through the hills and forests around here. It smells, sounds, and feels fresh, and it doesn't have a ridiculous temperature barrier. It's not like say an Arizona rock formation tour where the temperature is 100 degrees and the temperature radiating off the rocks is 120 degrees, there's nothing quite like it.It's beautiful country up here, and don't come up here, because you drive like jackasses.

I suspect troll thread for some reason. I dont get the joke if there is one though...

Pines arent native here so you dont get forests full of them, though you do get a few here and there. Oh and plantations of them. But ive never been in a plantation.

Pine forests are the only type I've ever been in, or even seen in real life, I think. But yes, they're nice. Rubber boots are a must when you go in a forest, though. Unless you take the easy way and follow the paths. But that's cheating.

Does there have to be a joke? Just a nice thread about pines, because pines are cool. Unlike those damn birches. I say, only good bich is a dead birch (for building stuff). I'm allergic to them, you see.

Pine trees!?!?
Its bad enough a regular tree can fall on you!

But one COVERED in SPIKES? -__- No thank you. I think i'll avoid nature and all of its potentially life threatening objects that can fall on you. I just.... feel more comfertable laying on my couch, under my 3 extremely sharp katana's i have mounted on the wall. Its a little less hazardous.

They're brilliant, I wish I lived nearer a very large forest, and probably will end up moving near one at some point in the next few years. I think I prefer the traditional English forest though, like the ancient ones on Dartmoor.

Rainforests are cooler but yeah pine forests are alright. I wouldn't stay in one for long though.

Damn! even the captcha judges me, even though I lied to not make myself look so bad...
[sub][sub]You see... eh I actually did have food but it never occurred to me to check my backpack so I spent all week carrying a heavy backpack full of food while dying of hunger, well that's not true I did eat those oranges I brought with me, but they just turned into orange juice....

Considering I'm severely allergic to evergreens (which includes the Christmas/Pine Tree) I would say no. I hate them because they hate me. Also where I live the evergreens pollinate and the whole city gets covered in the yellowish green dust cloud of pollen. Its like they try to gas me to death.

I do, but I like stuffy clammy forests just as much. Still, I much prefer pines over evergreens desiduous.
