I'm obsessed with this swedish band called Evergrey.

I also like a lot of other European metal bands, there are a lot of great ones :)

Much better than the mainstream crap around these parts.

Yeah...American music.

I listen to a bit of baroque, so, plenty of European stuff in there.

The only non-American artists on my itunes right now are The xx, BATS, Frightened Rabbit, The Tallest Man on Earth, Suburban Kids with Biblical names and The Very Best.

Also, Wolf Parade, Death From Above 1979 and Hot Hot Heat; almost forgot Canada for a second.

Is it fair to call At the Drive-In foreign?

Oooooh yes. Finland has some amazing metal bands, Canada's got me covered in the punk department, and I also listen to Irish rock and Jrock. Y'know, to round it out.

Quite of lot, actually. Mostly J-Pop/Rock, but I do have an assorted collection of traditional Celtic and Japanese pieces, and a number of random songs from random bands from around the globe.

When you view the voice as an instrument, lack of comprehension is no longer an issue. At any given moment I could be listening to English, Swedish, Finnish, Japanese, French, or Spanish, and I'm looking into more.

I imported a Kyo CD. I'm in no place to judge.

When I was in Finland I picked up on The Crash; they're one of my favourite bands now. I also heard Poets of the Fall, who are quite a good rock band.

Been listening to High and Mighty Color from Japan for almost two years. They're one of the best sounding bands I've ever heard and I have no idea what they're saying.

Yeah, I listen to a lot of Japanese music, fairly common amongst the gamer demographic I guess. Japanese hip hop is the only form of hip hop I can stand, partially because I can't understand the lyrics.

Um, if you want to count classical music most of the greats were German/Russian/French etc, I listen to a lot of that.

I listen to a lot of Japanese stuff (J-Rock, J-Pop, etc), But, I also am pretty open to every type of foreign music. In my collection I have Spanish, German, French, Russian, Scandinavian, Swedish, Korean, Chinese, Irish/Celtic, etc. Die Toten Hosen and Silbermond are some great German rock bands if anyone wants to give them a try. :)

Nightwish, Epica, Dark Moore, Blind Guardian (Demons and Wizards). Actually, I think almost everything in my Symphonic Metal station is foreign, except for the occasional American band.

Plenty. My MP3 player is full of Children of Bodom, Nightwish, In Flames, Hatsune Miku, and Rammstein, as well as various others. Let's see how many more non-American or Canadian bands I can think of off the top of my head:

Oomph!
Jumbo
Cham
Korpiklaani
The Pillows
Alestorm
Cascada

... those guys who do 004 from the XXX soundtrack ...
... that other band that sings in Spanish and English ...

I guess this means I can't think of any more bands right now but I do have a lot. Plus I didn't even mention non-American English-speaking bands like U2 or Iron Maiden.
