I got hooked at an early age to DDR and BeatmaniaIIDX so I listen to a lot of djTaka, kors k, Nekomata Master, and L.E.D.
Basically, I listen to a lot of Japanese Electronica from Beatnation Records. Odd? Yes. Good? depends on your taste.

Does British rock count?

I also think Dead Can Dance is great but I don't listen to them that much. I love Irish folk music as well.

still have a lot of Swedish music from when I go over there and from my family. That and Kaizers Orchestra, from Norway is probably one of my favorite bands ever. Also got a lot of Russian music that I love, even some reggae made by Russian groups. It's surprisingly good.

But if any of you get a chance to listen to it- listen to the City of God soundtrack. It's just an amazing compilation of licensed old Brazilian music and some new music from Seu Jorge and some other artists. Amazing, amazing soundtrack.

I usually zone out when I'm listening to music :p. This makes the lyrics a blur so as long as the music has a good beat I couldn't care less what language it's in.

As a big listener to doujin music, quite a decent sum of it is from Japan, and that's before accounting video game OSTs and groups like Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, Number Girl, m-flo, Nujabes, the pillows, Novasonic, and Shinichi Osawa. Hell, if we want to get really technical, European music falls under the category as "foreign", so we have to throw in Daft Punk, Super Furry Animals, Supertramp, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, μ-Ziq, Squarepusher, Plaid Ceephax Acid Crew, Brian Eno, The Orb, Boards of Canada, etc. into the mix as well.

In case it wasn't blaringly obvious yet, I listen to large quantities of electronic music.

Hmm Rammstein, The CNK, Al-Namrood, Gorgoroth, Dimmu Borgir, and Mysticum are not from the US.

98% of my music library is full of Japanese music of varying genres, so yes, I do listen to foreign music.

Quite a few bands from Wales, one or two from America, at least one from Ireland, and AC/DC from Australia.

All counts as foreign - I'm English.

I'm not going to count foreign music in English because that's kind of cheating but honestly not much. I've got a very small number of Spanish and Japanese songs that I like and not much else.

Unless you count places like Britain and Canadia, then not predominantly, but still yes. Especially traditional music from various cultures. Less things like J-Pop though.

Considering this is what I listened to for three years, I'm in the same boat as you, and I still continue to listen to Bemani OSTs, along with the good albums from Bemani artists like Backdrops, D, A Life With Remote Controllers, etc.

However, Beyond The Dead Future by Slake was shit and is possibly the worst album I have ever listened from start to finish, and I've sat through three Merzbow albums.

For a while, I've really enjoyed songs from Viva Soul.

Of course I do.

American metal, British classic rock, French punk, Japanese pop, rock and hip-hop and Australian hard rock.
I barely listen to any non-foreign music at all. XD
