I recorded the only uncut TV screening of Princess Mononoke on VHS...as far as i know, that is pretty friggin rare in Germany, land of the cutting scissors of censorship.
All other times i´ve seen it on TV, it was cut to the point where it doesn´t make sense anymore...

Can´t watch it anymore since we lost our VHS/DVD combi player, and where the hell should i get a VHS player in the age of Blue-Ray XD

I have all the Master Replicas Force FX Lightsabers, a couple of which were ridiculously hard to get my hands on.

I also have a metal Fob Watch Replica signed by Derek Jacobi

also, i have a hat on TF2. can't get much more rare than that. (not really, only hats i have are the Gibus and the Bill Hat...close to crafting a new hat though!)

I have some rare comic books, signed shirts from musicians etc, and a few first edition books from my favourite authors. Nothing to really shout about.

Do you own anything (comic book, dvd, figure, poster etc.) that can be described as rare or hard to come by? If so, what are they? For example, one of my uncles had done some work on the set of the late nineties movie 'Virus' and he gave me a few things from the set, those being a blueprint/plan/ conceptualization of the main bad guy, a t-shirt given to the crew and a polaroid picture of an alien/ monster body. Both the poster and the t-shirt were signed by the director , John Burro, and one of the actors ,Marshall Bell, at a later date(they were at a Trek-expo).
I've got the T-shirt of the CBC team from Doctor Who. My dad works there as a technician, and they had one spare......

I have a drumstick signed by Mike Portnoy (drummer of Dream Theater), Fallout 3: GOTY signed by Yahtzee, Graham, and Paul, and a couple of pictures signed by an artist that was at GameX.

My dad has a leather jacket signed by Steve Vai, John Petrucci, and more. It's pretty freakin awesome.

EDIT: Oh and I have about 40 or so PEZ machines, most of which are pretty old. There's some really cool ones in there.

Not many things have been passed through my family, and what little that has isn't in my possession... twice so since I immigrated and left all that stuff behind. The only thing that comes to mind right now has to be some shrapnel droped on Townsville during WW2 by the Japanese. Very few people seem to realised the Japanese bombed Australia.

Did teach me something: I know who Shrapnel is so dangerous now. Even though it is nearly 100 years old now the edges still come to a ragged blade that, while not sharp, could still hurt you if used right. Like wise this tiny bit of metal is the size of your fist weighs a hefty amount, even thrown it could break bones. If blasted into you, well clean through, it would leave a wound any medic would be struggling to patch up if you get hit by one.

People seem to think shrapnel is always tiny bits of twisted metal the size of small pebbles that plaster a small area. In reality these are bits of metal that can be flung hundreds of meters away from ground zero even though they are the size of your head!

Well, this isn't really a gaming or movie thing, but I own a tribal stick passed down through the healers of this tribe in Papua New Guinea. It was given to my grand-uncle who was a missionary, when he saved the tribal chief from Malaria, which the healers couldn't cure him of. They figured that he was better then they ever could be, so he deserved the stick. He gave it to me when he died.

It's about 2500 years old. I keep it in my room. I must take a picture of it actually.

EDIT: Here's a picture or two!

Now, this might sound like spiritual crap, but there definitely is a certain aura off it. Maybe it's just me.
<color=purple> That is really cool. O.O
