Dude, what do you need a prize for? You have the STICK.
..Oh yeah.

Well, I suppose I can pretend I'm in Beyond Good and Evil then!
And that would make you win AGAIN.
The only way to lose would be to pretend you're in Starfox Adventures.

Does a working amstrad pc1640 and dot matrix printer (ribbon job).count as a rare item.
Sure it does. It's not like a Core i7 PC is going to get you $40 off ebay in 25 years.

All that stuff is historic. I have my attic filled with an unhealthy amount of old hardware. I used to have a VAX, but thankfully I got rid of it.

I do have a working DEC Alpha, the last "hand-designed" processor likely ever to be made; a 64-bit CPU from 1992. Not a rarity, but quite the historical item if you're into hardware. It's also interesting since Windows NT was released on the architecture.

Sadly it is also just an ugly 90's PC [http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/people/gbell/digital/timeline/photos/winNT.jpg], so it doesn't make for a good conversation piece; thus it's demise collecting dust in the attic.

Common sense. Rarest item in the known universe.
ZING!

EDIT: I'm not sure I have many rare items, I used to have Tales of Symphonia before I realised how hard it was to find in this country and sold it at Gamestation. I shoulda given eBay a try. Oh well.

I have a relative who worked on the crew of the 3rd season of Lost. I have about 6-7 scripts from mid-season (that I got weeks before the episodes aired, but I refused to read them) and some Lost Season 3 crew gear (laptop backpack, t-shirt, baseball hat) that you could only get from being on the crew.
He also has a bunch of dvd's of the dailies which they are gonna give me....once they find 'em.

Ray Park's (Darth Maul) autograph on a framed Phantom Menace preview cell (luckily it had a Maul close up in all three cells).

My brother worked as a storyboard artist on the recent Sherlock Holmes movie, so I went to visit and got my Aliens t-shirt signed by Robert Downey Jnr and Guy Ritchie. That was pretty cool.

An original copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, including the gold-stenciled box. The cartridge is also gold-colored. There might be other small differences between this 'deluxe' version and the normal one, but the only one I really noticed is the original Fire Temple choir music before Nintendo was forced to change it.

Something even rarer, however, is a rare Secret of Mana T-shirt from a contest more than a decade ago. My cousin won it and eventually passed in on to me. Unfortunately it's now too small for me as well, perhaps I'll give it to my younger brother.

I own several books that are hard to come by, either because they are out of print or because they were collectors items and thus had a limited run and thus if you want one somebody else who already owns one will have to sell it to you. The most valuable is probably my copy of Xenology, a Warhammer 40,000 background book that is typically priced in the $160 to 315 at used bookstores (I paid slightly less than original retail for it, yay!).

These might not be that rare, but they are the coolest things in my room. Sorry some of these are stock photo's since I'm too lazy to find my camera and take pictures

Also I think Furburt may have won, as posts have already pointed out.

I own a few H.P. Lovecraft novels... may not seem very rare at first... but have you ever tried to find one at a Borders or a Barnes and Noble? Might as well try to turn air into gold.
I actually turned air into to gold but i turned the air over my head to gold so it fell on my head and i forgot how to turn air into gold...

OT is a snes hard to come by if so then yes i have something special if not then i only have my air gold.

Does a Game Boy Camera count?
A friend gave it to me for a laugh, it don't work XD
I had one of those, back in the day... Although I got bored of the camera pretty quickly and just started playing the minigames on it...

I have an original production cel from the Simpsons! It took a long time to remember that, probably cos it's at home whilst I'm at university

A FF7 pepsi glass
A Hmong cap from vietnam.
A 10,000 Dinar with Saddam Hussein face on it.
A few playstation one games no ones heard of, like Eternal Eyes
A T-shirt advertising the awesome power of the 56k modem, which i wear all the time. US Robotics brand i believe

And the crown jewel of my old stuff collection, a 8 day swiss made SANDOZ-VUILLE, a 6 jewel gear clock mounted on the dash board of the Ford model T. Thing still ticks musically when wound.
