I used to have a massive game collection which eventually began to feel stifling and I sold the bulk of it to pay for new furniture. Every now and then when I see pictures of larger collections (a magazine I subscribe to had a feature on collections) I feel this pang of regret even though at the time my collection began to feel more like a burden than a joy.
(I also just want to throw out that I'm not a hoarder, I just really liked my games and spent a lot of effort seeking some of them out. >.>)
Although I will admit when I thinned out my collection I was a tad overzealous and sold a few great and a few rare titles. I'm just glad that emulators and digital downloads are usually an option...
These days I prefer a smaller collection of games that I adore on systems that I enjoy.
What about you guys?
Captcha: big kahuna burger. Captcha is the King of Collectors apparently.
