Do you prefer the company of one gender more than the other?

Completely agree with you on this. I usually just end up going into a small group, and become really good friends with those guys or girls. Right now, I only have about... five people I enjoy talking to, one being my girlfriend, two being girls, and the other two being boys. And is it really that hard to find Megaton for them?
Of the 3-4 people I talk to, really, no.

Of the rest of my 'friends,' I guess a giant heap of metal DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF YOU, IN YOUR CROSSHAIR when you leave Vault 101 isn't obvious enough.

He found Springvale first and had pretty much no dialogue options with the woman there who's part of a sidequest for Colin Moriarty, and then he proceeded further south until he found Grayditch, died to fire ants, claimed the game was too hard, and returned it.

Same people who won't try Master of Orion because there's too much on the screen, I try to show them the glory of the Dreamcast with Crazy Taxi and they say "it's just an arcade game" and then I try to show them Shenmue and "wow this is so slow and boring let's go play CoD 4" is the common response.

It's mildly depressing really.

Wow. That would be enough for me to consider driving them into the middle of the desert, then kicking them out of the car. After they come back, they will figure out that Fallout 3 is not so hard.

Yeah, I try my best to not hang out with them.

Suffice to say that I'm "that kid" who was made fun of for still playing N64 when PS2/GC/Xbox came out.

Apparently, now it makes me cool and oldschool, but at the time, people were stupid and made it sound like I should be jealous of their ability to play Fantavision.

Meh, always was a PC fan anyhow.

It depends, if we're hittin' the pub I prefer the company of my bro's, because it's man-time at the pub where we talk about manly things like trucks, dirt, guns and games. Oh and Chernoybl one time, which was unusual.

If we're hittin' the town for a spot of clubbin', then I much prefer a mixed group, not sure why, just always have.

In a way, I'm sort of in your path. Instead of buying really new PC games, I just buy the old ones, like Starcraft, Half-Life 1, Fallout 1, and I'm about to get TF classic. I guess I just like the originals a lot better, considering they're cheaper, run easily on my PC, and are fun.

Depends entirely on the circumstances. I prefer the company of mainly women if I'm clubbin or want to just ***** about people and share anecdotes, but my bros are always a good laugh and I can talk to them about any srs business I might have, down in the local.

Either
Most of the dudes at my school are dumb-ass drunk jocks, and most of the girls are dumb-ass drunk cheerleaders.

My friends are those who are left...

we probably have the most fun too :D

i agree with the personality traits. while the stereotypical female may be more caring, there are males that may be just as caring. vice versa with the careless. it's a question of whether you're a feeling or thinking person, and that goes across genders.
