I was at my second cousins house just hanging around. I found his GameBoy and stried playing it. He saw me playing with it and said "you can have that if you like". He gave me four games to go with it, Itchy and Scratchy Mini-Golf, some castle thing, Battleship and World Cup Soccer. I still have this GameBoy somewhere but I traded the mini golf and castle game and wound up with Donkey Kong and Kirby's Dreamland and soemthing else as well I think. I also obtained Pokemon Blue and Yellow somehow. Never bought a game for the thing.

That was my first and only console.

I remember my first console perfectly, it was Christmas 1998 I got a N64. I was 9 years old. Top gear Overdrive came with the console , but me, my brother and my sister all got a game each. I got Banjo Kazooie, my brother got Blast Corps and my sister got Diddy Kong Racing. We all got "Rare" games which was pretty awesome. Best Christmas Ever =P

I was 8 years old when I got the nintendo 64. It was a christmas present for me and my older brother. It came with the legend of zelda: ocarina of time, Mariokart and star wars. Later I also got star fox 64, mario 64 and a racing game.
Man I still play legend of zelda every 2 years or something. Friggin love that game. I don't care about the graphics. Star fox is also fun if you're bored on a lazy day!! Mario kart is awesome for when you have a lan. 4 people playing on a beamer is awesome!!!!!!!!

I was very excited when I first got it. I played it hours on end for months at first. After that allways a couple a weeks now and then

I don't remember getting it, but when I was about 3 or 4, I had had brain surgery and lost use of my hands, and using my first "console", a game boy, was part of the process of learning how to use them again, played the hell out of it if memory serves me right.

Back in the earl to mid eighties, I was three or four, and we got an Atari 2600 and bag full of games. At this point, we already had the massive Pong thing that hooked up to your TV. I played the Atari so much. Battletank, Sea Quest, Frogger, etc. It was great. A year or two after that I got the NES for Christmas.

When I was 6, I got a SNES for my birthday. It came with Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Kart. I loved that console, and still do. It is what introduced me to something which has been a huge part of my life for the 16 years since.

I think I was 6-8 when me and my sisters got an N64 for Christmas with Mario 64 which came with the console and Lylat Wars which came with the Rumble Pak. Suffice to say, my sisters didn't get a look in with Lylat Wars. :)

We did have a SNES but I was probably like 2 at the time so don't remember.

It's a bit hard to remember, the first console I played on was an Atari 2600 but I had to share that one with my sister. My first properly owned console was a Sega MasterSystem, it had wonderboy built in my sisters one had sonic. It was kinda funny I really liked playing sonic and my sister liked wonderboy more she was always bugging me to play wonderboy with her yet we never thought to swap consoles.

How old were you? I was what, nine?

Which console was it? The Nintendo Game cube (HORF HORF LAME)

In what way did you get it? My mom bought it for me because my brother got all the consoles but never let me play with them.

What games did it come with? Oh dear lord, Shrek 2, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Star Fox (the only good game I got) and super mario

How would you feel playing that console and those first games now? I would be bored to death. Really really bored.

Do you recall being excited? How long did you play it for the first time? I was super excited the only other games I played were Crash Bandicoot and Jet Set Radio for short whiles since my brother always booted me off. This was the first time I could play till my hearts content! The first day I got about 20 hours of game play and didn't finish any of the games LOL.

I was about 3 or 4 and my mom bought one of the old blocky PlayStations of her friend at work and I remember playing WipeOut, Tekken, Rayman and Crash Bandicoot and sucking balls at them. I got better at it soon though.

2006. School camp. A whole week. My mother was coming too, and she decided to stop in on an electronics store. She figured, since by that point everyone else would have something like the Nintendo DS, she got me one. A blue, classic-style DS, which I've never vinyl'd or replaced. Even after it got cracked a little bit (still runs everything I put in it, though!)

I'm 35, and I have been gaming since I was around six years old. I have never owned a console. I've played on friend's consoles over the years, every generation from Intellivision onwards, but I've never liked them enough to want to own a console myself. I've owned computers and gamed on them since around 1985, and that's probably how I'll always play my games.

My first console was the Snes. I can't remember getting it because I was very young. I do remember getting the N64 for christmas. My dad brought out the games for it first. We tried to put them in the Snes then when it didn't work my dad laughed and brought out the N64. To this day it is still the best console I have ever had.

In 1989 my family got a Commodore 64 for primarily educational reasons, it isn't really a console, really it is a PC.

I was 14 at the time. We had a second hand Sinclair before it but the Commodore was much more games focused (for me anyway, it also had a descent word processor that I was still using well into university,).

It came with two cartridges (I told you it was games based) one was five a side soccer and the other was um not as memorable as the soccer one. My uncle also gave us Pirates! when he found out we got the C64. It is a game I still play and love to this day.

I was super excited when we got it and played the soccer game with my father and my brother in a loser stays on tournament for a few hours at least.

If you mean when did I get an actual console, console? I'll let you know when it happens.

Just goes to prove you really are never the only one.

I think I was about five years old, and it was my beloved SNES. I got it as birthday present if I can recall correctly, and it came with Super Mario World(great game). I later got Mega Man X(one of my favorite games of all time), F-Zero and Star Fox shortly after its release.

I don't think I was ever as excited about any other system, as I was the day I got my Super Nintendo.

How would I feel playing them now? Pretty much the same as I did when I was little. I still take my system out at least once a year and spend a couple months playing through the Mega Man X games, and I still enjoy playing Star Fox even though it's lost the 'wow' factor it had when I was a kid(well in graphics at least, the music is still damn amazing).

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a closet to raid and cartridges to blow in.

I remember a sega Genesis 3 as my first one. I have no idea how I got it, but I was young, but I really can't remember
