Yes, although doing so apparantly means I'm some sort of racist, biggoted elitist prick.
I'm English by the way; not racist or biggoted. A bit elitist though, and a prick on occasion.

nop, not at all.

In fact i dont even respect the country i am in. Its a piece of land with a government to (hopefully) impose the necessary order for living conditions. I play by the rules on it (if they are not retarded) and live my life.

Stop referring to a country like it is a sacred icon you silly people.

I'm English and here we love our Union Flag (the one where we nicked colors from scotland) because its pretty, and looks nice on clothes.

I've yet to meet a British-Steriotype patriotic enough to give a damn about the flag itself or what it represents.

If someone burned the flag in front of an Englishman the majority would just think
'Ha-Ha you wasted money on colorful cloth and matches in the vague hope that it offends me'
Those outside the majority may actually laugh out loud.

Really? i could care less about a peice of cloth, its what the cloth means is why people care about it. myself, thinks some things need to change before a lot of people will start respecting it again.

I'm not as crazy about it as some people. If one of my countries flags were destroyed I wouldn't go absolutely nuts. It's more the English language i'm nutty about. Everything is being americanised and it's a little depressing. It's England, not an extension of America, we shouldn't be taking up their pronunciations and spelling. Though we possibly do have more foreigners in England than English now. ._.

Well I don't piss on it, but it's just a flag.

I respect England, just not a red cross on a white background.

No, I think that is stupid. I just don't see why I should respect the values of the piece of land I just happenend to be born in.

England's alright, I could be a lot worse off but I'm not going to get teary over it.

I don't care at all about flags or having pride in 'homelands' I was only born in England because my mother wanted me, it wasn't my choice so I'm not patriotic as I feel it's a stupid idea, unless that is you move to another country, then it was your choice.
Also why do people care about flag burners?

I take care of my flag. I grew up in a family of veterans from WWII-Current Gulf War.
But its just a cloth, its what it represents.

If someone burned it they would get a righteous ass kicking though.

Perhaps not to the same level of dedication that you do, but I got it tattooed on my arm so what does that tell you?
