Yeah, I sell my games eventually, except my GBA collection and any game I consider a personal favorite like Budokai 3. Usually I keep even the bad games for a year or two before selling and just sell a bunch of them right before Christmas (mad moneyz)

I have a sizable collection spread across several gaming platforms.

I tend to leave only the finest games (in my case meaning the ones that I'll replay once in a while) and selling off the ones that don't make the cut. Works fine for me and at least I get a little money out of them, as opposed to just throwing them away or leaving them around to gather dust and take up space.

I don't sell mine, heck I still have the first 2 games I ever got (V-Rally and Abes Odysee) with my first gaming machine the PSX. I usually go back and play some of my older games so they do get the occasional run, plus I like keeping what I've purchased. The fact they cost anything upto $110 (Australia) means I wanna squeeze every penny of value out of them I can.

I get a little sad every time I sell/trade a game in. But I play a LOT of games, so my collection rotates pretty often, and because of how much I play, my games get traded in to buy new stuff pretty often. I used to horde games when I used to make a lot of money, but now that I don't, I sadly have to sell games that I really love in order to pay bills.

I would for some games (Modern Warfare 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3) but I know I'm not going to get crap for trading them in or selling them so I'd rather give them a more useful function by serving as a place for me to put my soda on, something to write on or paperweights.

Otherwise, I replay quite a good portion of my games. Still play the SNES every now and then.

i like collecting them really, and you never know what you will end up wanting to replay a decade or two from now

mostly though i find the price offered for used games to be absurd

when i get offered less then 10% of what the game will be priced at when they put it on a shelf, that's not an offer, that's an insult

I do, but not very often. Though there has been times that I wish I didn't sell some of the games I did.

I own games that I like. I haven't ever sold a game or traded one in. Why? Because I only buy games I know I will like.

I used to sell every game I had, because I didn't have an allowence or job or anything. It was the ONLY way to play other games. But now I keep every single one, and I've bought back a large portion of my childhood. Good times.
Every once in a while I'll remember a good game, go on Amazon, and pay like, ten bucks for it. It's really nice.

I like the idea of having a huge game collection too, I'm jealous whenever I see one, but it's just impractical for me in multiple ways.
For one, it saves me a ton of money to sell games that I don't play anymore. That's money I can put towards new games.
Another issue is that physical copies of games take up space, and if I had kept all the games I've owned in my life and their cases, It would just take up an unwieldy amount of space. I would definitely be more keen on having a collection that was all digital though. Much easier to organize and so convenient.

Hell no.

Trade-in shops totally screw you over, so I don't sell the games to them. And any game good enough to be worth selling directly to the buyer (via ebay, Amazon, etc...) for any decent money also tend to be really freakin' good and worth keeping. The ones I might consider selling... well, I probably wouldn't even make enough on the sale to cover the shipping.

I used to sell mine, but when I got my PS3 I stopped. My collection now spans about 30+ games. Even the games that I hated up until now I haven't sold (*cough, FFXIII, cough*). I'm kind of considering breaking my rule and selling my latest purchase (El Shaddai) because I'm about 3 hours in and it's turned out to be kinda crappy. For those of you who have played it, is it worth hanging on to?
