Ive had a recent of spiting on the street lately, no real reason i just cant help it.I was wondering what your opinions on this are? do you find it disgusting,acceptable do you do it yourself?

When I do, I try to do it actually into the street, where it won't bother anyone, or off to the side, where it will be of little bother if at all.

Nope. I've never really been able to projectile-spit, so there's always the risk that some of it's gonna dribble down my face and I got a beard so that's problematic.
I only spit when I'm either drunk or have some really weird taste to get rid of.
I do on the other hand know people who manage to get a good 10-inch-square in front of them if they stand still for more than a minute, which I do consider disgusting ... But other than that, unless it's right in front of me, I could barely care less.

No... it's disgusting. Because on the street it doesn't go anywhere. It just sits there waiting for some unsuspecting person to step in it. If I have to spit I find a patch of grass. I don't see why you wouldn't.

NO, god no. That's just plain disgusting. I've even seen people spit on the floor indoors. Sure it's not like I'm going to eat of the ground or something but I'm not a fan of having peoples fluids all over the place.
Yup all the time , when i used to smoke , i always had the urge to spit. Never when i was around women i found attractive though .Now that i don't smoke , i still spit just not as often , i don't really care if people don't like that, not like i am goig to get hit on by a woman i find attractivr anyways. The women i find attractive( BBWs) tend to have low self esteem so most don't hit on me unless i do it first ( and i am extremely shy so i never hit on anyonr ). No I don't, and I find it very strange that it has become socially acceptable to do so; as if people just started pissing all over the place in public, and everyone just went with it. It's disgusting and makes you look like some backwater hick.
What also confuses me is why people do it. Did they wake up one morning hating the taste of their own mouth? Have a Tic Tac, no need to go around spitting on things.

I think it's foul.
It always seems to be the aggressive assholes that do it. In my experience, witnessing someone gob on the street is usually followed by having "what you lookin' at!" or something equally civilized barked at you. Which makes me think it's some retarded territorial thing.
I certainly have trouble believing it's a necessity, do a lot of people simply have an uncontrollable amount saliva?
The one that gets me the most is when people spit all over the basketball court. When my ball becomes wet and sticky on a completely dry day...and then transfers it to my hand, it makes me want to smash it into the offenders nose.
