Not not really, I can just never be bothered. It doesn't interest me enough anymore.
This is my sentiments as well.

I use to watch a new episode the day it came out. Since their exodus from the Escapist I can't say I've been motivated to track them down.

I watched a few episodes here before I joined and I hated the pretentious vibe the show had...
I love the Jimquisition because there is actual humor to it and addresses actual problems (On-disk DLC) and didn't have a pissy video game addiction episode.

So no, I stopped when the left, the art style also went down hill when the lass broke her arm.
You do realize that Allison has since had her surgery as is still EC's artist? Even so, when she was out, they had guest artists take her place. I rather enjoyed the little change-ups they've had.

I still watch their program. I still enjoy it and I keep going back every week to make sure I'm up to par on their episodes. I, generally, find their topics to be insightful and engaging. Some of the ideas they present are different than what I believe should be done about some things...but so be it. Difference is what helps the world to grow and expand.

I stopped watching Extra Credits about a month before they left The Escapist. I just didn't really care for the tone and how a lot of the episodes were kind of downers. When they did leave I was a bit surprised by the amount of backlash and, general craziness this site underwent. Personally, I didn't care when they left. I like Jimquisition a lot more anyway.

Yep and I enjoy their shows for the most part. I already regularly went to the PA site so it wasn't much of an issue for me when they switched.

They are the highpoint of my week, so yes. The newer episodes aren't quite as good as some of their older stuff, but I still enjoy watching them. They're one of the top five reasons I go on the internet anyway.

My mild interest petered out the moment I had to stray more than two mouse-clicks off my regular tracks.

But yeah I'd much rather watch The Jimquisition. You get the same analysis of the industry without the pretentiousness and some actual humour.
Pretty much this, I had a disagreement of opinion with them in regards to the whole games as art thing, after the you-know-what, ending you-know-how, and as such, don't really value their opinion as much as I did. That said, they're still very high quality, and if I ever need to teach someone how the industry works, I'll point them in that direction.

I watched them when they were here but not since they left. Their topics were interesting but often too preachy for me, regardless of how interesting a topic was. I've actually grown to enjoy Jim Sterling, though I can't say I like his "live segments".

I still watch them regularly. I find the commentary interesting and they bring up topics I know nothing about (such as the spectrum crunch). I also liked the video game addiction episode since I could relate to it. I never got as bad as James said he did, but I definitely spent more than a healthy amount of time playing video games at various points over the years.

Extra Credits, a free web show created and presented by professionals in the Video Game industry, being compared to Jim Sterling?

Jim's entertaining as all hell, don't get me wrong, but the guy is a game Journalist. His experience with the industry is limited to the scope of media and PR.

But hey, EC is pretentious because it uses larger words and presents it's opinions as opinions... right. Sometimes I forget that Escapist's majority population is still in high school.

I do surprisingly. I was actually on the side of the TE when the whole fiasco came up, but they still have genuinely good content, and I can accept that James(the one I dislike) isnt the one actually doing the show, simply helping it.

They have very insightful content and I really wish things could of gotten sorted better, but oh well.

Yes I do. More so now because they're not on the Escapist with their draconian advertising system. I also feel a lot better given that Penny Arcade pay their talent. If only they hired Rob to make Unforgotten Realms.

Yes I do. I like the show. I have problems with it but I still watch it every week (just after zero punctuation)

Meh, I still watch from time to time if I see an episode that interests me. Although my overall opinion of the show went down a smidge after that little "episode" on game addiction that was basically just James moping into the camera for two straight videos.

You say that as though the Jimquisition isn't a free web show created and presented by a professional in the video game industry.....which it clearly is.

Also, I love how the Extra Credits fanboy in you comes along to tell all of us that the show isn't pretentious using one of the most pretentious posts I've ever seen.

Nope. Kind of forgot about them actually.
They made good points and stuff, but they were usually pretty pretentious about it. I often left their videos with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.

The only Escapist series I keep up with nowadays is Zero Punctuation. Not really fan of Jim Sterling (only watched the first couple of videos when he debuted, but he seemed pretty douchebag-y [though his theme song is awesome]), and MovieBob's a dick who preaches his opinion as fact.
