Do you talk to the games you are playing as if you were in them?

I am playing Fallout 3 at the moment and I keep talking to the game as if I was talking to the characters in the game itself. Must be pretty immersive which is good for a game isn't it?

I don't usually do that but for a game like this I feel no shame in doing so.

Does anyone else do the same? Or are the certain conditions that must be satisfied before you'll talk?

I do this in lots of immersive games, where I can make my own character, so usually western RPG's.

sometimes. when i'm playing an rpg i give my team pep talks and when the are in battle i will give them dialogue or over dramtize special moves if they are simular to an anime other game i have seen. Example in sonic and the black knight( i actually enjoyed the game so fuck you haters. i wasn't great but it was good) when he turned into excalibur sonic and did his finshing move i was screaming"HERE I GO!! SHIIIINIIING FIIIINGER SWOOOORD!! GO! GO! GOOOOOO!!!.

During other games i will just scream dragon ball z style when attacking or racing. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!

Things like Risen, which insists on fucking around with retarded difficulty, I just swear at it.
While games like Saint's row 2, I'm all about calling everyone a fucking wanker and what the fuck do they think they're doing in my city.

Heh, yes. Usually to my enemies, especially when they spout the same triumphant lines of dialogue at me when I'm winning.

Although, one of my personal favorites is when I get asked in-battle what I plan on doing to stop them. In which case I simply state, "Uhm...uh...PANIC!" and run around mashing buttons while proceeding to mess their shit up.

I do this too. I either end up yelling at it or talking to the characters by saying things like "come on guys." or stuff like that.
