Yes. But mainly to vocalize thoughts, not to have a conversation or anything.

Not as much as I used to. I always talk to myself quietly and I mumble, everyone keeps thinking I'm talking to them and says "What?"

I do, normally when it's eerie or something strange just happened. I try and make humor out of the situation, or sing really bad impressions of positive songs.

Yeah I actually do quite alot. Mostly at work since I sit alone with the machine I operate and think to myself about random things to keep me preoccupied. Quite often I say it aloud simply because it's relaxing to do it that way and to reherse conversations. I think that my co-workers think I'm wierd for it and they've teased me a bit for it but I still do it in spite of them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this.

I do talk to myself a lot especially when doing Home work for school. It helps me solve problems. I also commentate to myself a lot in other areas, but I'm not CRAZY. [small/]maybe[/small]

Whats more interesting is that i can think of full scenarios/stories in my head
for example i can think the same thoughts as one character would and the thoughts of another
and still keep them apart now do this with about 50+ characters.

I split my mind when i multitask, multiple personalities focusing on different things however they usually don't interact with each other at the end they just reset back. I am currently doing this while me #347 is looking at breasts.

"Nah, I should just hold it in."
"But what if I can't hold it in any longer when I'm in the middle of cooking something that needs constant attention!?"
"Then I'll just run to the washroom and do my business really quickly!"
"But what if it burns!? I can't take that risk! I'll just go before I start!"

Do you ever talk to yourself? Cause I do!...well I don't have full blown conversations with myself like I don't talk to voices that aren't there or hear voices that aren't there but I do talk to myself occasionally. For example I might practise by myself explaining something to a friend alone. Or I might commentate on my game play or shout along with the guy on screen to make my heroic charge seem more fun when I get slaughtered charging down the hill in LOTR BFME 2 or cut to pieces as I make my last heroic stand in DoW DC. I sometimes comment on something I do e.g. walk up the stairs realise I didn't mean to and then say as I remember where I was going "no I am going to (X)" to myself. Do you do the same/similar thing? and if so do you recon we are mad or normal?

i do all of this... ALOT.
