I doubt it. It'll be the last Bungie Halo game, but Microsoft, willing to part with its biggest selling baby? I highy doubt it...
No. No chance. I hope it's not as well. Because I actually really enjoy Halo and would like to see it continued.
It will definatley be the last Halo game made by Bungie. But microsoft? They won't let their prized cash cow die so easily? I think we're looking at several more "Halo Wars" games.
Dear God...there's so much money left to be made, but storyline they've got nowhere to go anymore. So I think they should end it, but Microsoft is a corporation...thus, money needs to be made...
I wish, but I don't think so. I mean, they're just milking the franchise for what it's worth at this point so chances are they will keep it up. I personally don't care for the series, the only one I liked being Halo 2, and now there are just expansions after expansions. People will continue to buy them just because they say "Halo" on the side and Microsoft won't stop making them until people stop buying them.

Bungie started the entire franchise from scratch back in '01 and have basically filled everything that Halo fans wanted from the series. I don't think there's much to do with the series anymore.
But I have to agree with everybody else, Microsoft won't let their saving grace go so easily.

That's like asking if Saw __ will be the last one. As long as there's money flowing in, somebody is going to find a way to keep it going.
It will be the last Halo game made by Bungie (my favourite dev, and I will support anything they make since they've got a real talent) but...No, I don't think the last Halo game by Microsoft.
But you sure as hell know on these forums Halo haters will boo at Bungie, the ones who don't do research anyway, I just hope it's awesome and the ending is pure win and it's a great way to end the real Halo franchise.

Microsoft will pick it up and either bastardize it or just make the same exact game activision style. If they actually make a worthy successor I will be thoroughly surprised.
