In short, no.

When people come over to my house, I gleefully invite them to gaze upon my Dawn of the Dead poster

No, they're a lot of my charm. I wouldn't be me without a constant stream of internet references and a relatively broad knowledge of anime and video games.

IRL, yes mostly. That is because I live in hippieville and no one plays video games here as a main hobby. When I do that its basically alienating myself.
oh it was like that when I used to live in Berkely everyone was a hippie with a tidied shirt and no T.V. so I couldn't talk to anyone about games... that's when I took up the guitar...

I did, during high school particularly. When i discovered that school was a crippling cesspool of intimidation and actually got to enter the real world, i felt i didnt have to anymore.

No, I do not hide any geeky personality. It's what makes me me and if anyone else doesn't like, screw them.

Also, I'm going to assume you will get this very same answer for the rest of this thread, considering the fact that this is a gaming forum. :p

I don't hide it, but I don't speak with other people often enough for them to know that I have all three consoles.

Anyone who judges you based on your interests isn't worth talking to, so no, I don't hide my geekiness.
This, basically.

But my geekiness isn't really the pure geekiness that comes to mind when I think of the word. I just do what I feel like.

The only real "geeky" thing I do is play video games, and nobody I know really considers that a bad thing, so no, I don't hide it.

I wouldn't even if I was into geekyer things, but that hasn't come up.

Yes and no. I might mention that I've spent far too much playing videogames over the weekend, but I wouldn't mention the details of how I well I played in a recent Halo 3 multiplayer match online, or how moving I found the conclusion of Red Dead Redemption, or how I've downloaded Koji Kondo's soundtrack to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Most of the people I know aren't interested in the details.

Everyone but my close friends. I never attract any girls if I would've flaunted it.

Women these days don't appreciate dedicaded geekiness.

I do not hide my geekyness nor my redneck...ness. In fact, when a professor or someone asks us to share something about ourselves on the first day of class I say "I am a redneck computer geek."

No.

I don't usually show any inclinations, but when they come up, I'm fairly open about most of them.
