windwaker is too monotonous to be a movie. i kinda have in my head the ocarina of time as a movie tho2012 Wont Happen said:If they made it out of Ocarina of Time or Windwaker I would watch it. I'm not exceedingly interested in the stories of the others.
Maybe Majora's Mask.
What the Hell are the exceptions? Every single one of them sucked donkey dick.Ldude893 said:89% of movies based on video games are not successful.
I agree with all of this. xDFurburt said:Well, I wouldn't hold out hope, but were it to appear, I think it should utilize Ocarina Of Time and Majoras Mask, I think that those two taken together have the best story. Don't just make it an actioner, keep it under 3 hours, stick to the story, don't cast popular actors just for the sake of it, DO NOT ADD ANY NEW CHARACTERS, and no original stories by anyone except the people who wrote the games.
As for directors, preferably someone Japanese and reasonably independent. Hell, you could make it animated and get Studio Ghibli onboard, or you could get a really good Japanese director, like Takeshi Kitano. If only Akira Kurowasara was still alive...
As for stars, someone reasonably elfish looking for Link. Can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but I'll just say that under NO circumstances should Elijah Wood be involved.
Also, if Hollywood decides to bastardize it like they have countless other things, there will be car bombs.
Still, it's not going to turn out well, I just know it. Assuming it does happen.
Don't think Akira Kurowasara would be interested in creating a Zelda film(if he was still alive), however on the off chance he would it really would be amazing. I reckon he could make something enjoyable out of it.Furburt said:As for directors, preferably someone Japanese and reasonably independent. What if it was a directive, collaborative effort by the people who produced the plot of OoT and Majora's Mask? The key there though would be to keep Shegiru Miyamoto as far away from it as possible. Better yet, ship him off to a country where bounding somebody up and throwing them in a cell for a few months is legal. And let's also throw in the director to the Super Mario Bros. movie in a cell with him as well, just to be extra careful.Furburt said:As for directors, preferably someone Japanese and reasonably independent.
that is alot of precaution ^_^u i am sure that if someone put that much effort into the movie it would be amazingTimotei said:What if it was a directive, collaborative effort by the people who produced the plot of OoT and Majora's Mask?
