I've been wondering this for a while now, your friends on the Escapist (and Steam), how many of them are just trophies to you? Do you actually have conversations with them? Do you accept friend requests just to have a big list and feel manly (or womanly?) Do you often only talk to a few and forget about the others? Also, will you be my friend?? XD

I am actually friends with many of my friends on the Escapist. However, quite a lot of them are merely people with which I agreed on one or more issues, added them, and haven't talked with them since.

I don't get friend requests. I don't understand why the feature exists. I consider myself friends with everyone here unless they've specifically pissed me off.

I normally add people if we had a good debate (been while actually) and do occasionally see what they've commented on and see if it's my cup o'tea

Anyway, I have a select group of friends that I generally engage in conversations with.

I don't forget about the others, I just don't engage with them as much.

StarStruckStrumpets is a good friend, even though we have the English Channel between us. I'm pretty sure he thinks the same about me, too.

Usually they have posted something so funny/smart/witty that i would want to take them out for a drink. so my friends, i would actually want to be friends with.

I have about 400 or something friends on here, but that's mostly because when someone befriends me, I befriend them back. It's just polite.

I have a tight enough group of about 15 people who I have regular conversations with, such as Hubilub, LordCuthberton, anthony87, Lambi and a few others, mostly on groups like PRIATE and The Irish Brigade, but also by PM. I know them all so well I've made arrangements to meet a whole bunch of them in the summer, thus fusing my online and offline lives.

And because you asked, and you're a nice enough guy, I'll add you.

I have around +10 friends here and 88 on Live.

But sadly most (if not all) are just trophies, which is sad considering I like to have conversations with them. I just suffer a sever case of "lack of confidence to talk to others" also I'm horrible at socializing.
