I am beyond needing makeup to help my appearance. I'm more of the hag-bag level of ugly, according to the chickenheads I've dealt with. I actually had a girl break up with me back in high school because she said I wasn't good-looking enough for her.

I'm not going to bash a guy who wears makeup since it seems like such a ballsy move anyway. Guys have been wearing makeup for a long time, but it's certainly not for me. At least you didn't take any crap about doing such a thing.

The closest I got to wearing makeup was drawing a swastika on my forehead to inspire anarchy in high school, just had a bunch of ignorant asses calling me a nazi. How I miss the days of being tortured for just being myself. Oh wait... that still happens. Thankfully not as often.

I think guys look great in eyeliner! They sell eye makeup primer that helps it stay on all day, but that's pretty pricey.

With the chance of sounding like a bigot/ignoramus/jerk I must state this:

Well... No. Since I'm a man, and with that not a whiny emo/goth/scene kid, nor homosexual. I do not wear makeup.

I wear nail varnish "for teh lolz" sometimes but make up is a little too far for my tastes.

If you want to "make your eyes pop" all the power to you, personally I think your begging to victimized.
ya maybe. thats a big reason i'm wearing it, if somebody gets they're panties in a twist because of me, its done its job.

I never wear it. It probably wouldn't flatter me in any way.

On a side note, too much makeup is a bad thing. Learn where the line is, and never cross it.
ya its just eyeliner for now. i think some lipstick might compliment it though.

If you're going to school with a swastika on your forehead, you're just asking for trouble. I can understand why people would be bothered by it.

On-topic: No, I don't wear makeup and I don't see any reason to do so. It would just have me wasting more of my time in the morning putting it on, only to have people constantly questioning why I am wearing makeup. If you want to wear make up that's fine, but don't act surprised when people ask why you are wearing it. It's not exactly a common sight.

The problem with pissing people off is, some people like to fight or otherwise harm people who piss them off.

There are also people who beat guys up for wearing make up.

I am not saying don't do it but take it from an action transvestite, you will get abuse for it. Eddie Izzard, incase your wondering.

I can assure you, little man, that the world dealt me a lot shittier cards than it dealt you. Still, you can dress yourself in a mixture of garbage and leaves for all I care.

I just clarified to anyone in doubt that I think men who wear makeup are either:
A) Whiny goth/emo/scene kids.
or
B) Not straight.

You would appear to pose as A) while your are in fact B).

Is this a wrong assumption?
i am posing as A but i like girls. if anything this is certainly getting attention, so yeah maybe i'm a narcissist.

move somewhere a bit less homophobic, though. Otherwise, I might get gay-bashed.
I'm in that same boat here, thus I must hide the fact I'm not 100% straight

You're not a narcissist, your parents just did not provide you with enough attention(or smothered your with it) throughout your childhood... Thus making you seek attention in many odd ways with the idea that "Any attention is good attention".

You're like malnourished cattle... Only not really like it at all.
neither actually. my mom and i have a great relationship, and theres no need for personal attacks. if you disagree with me feel free to say so, but hostility is not necessary. my childhood hasn't technically ended yet either.

I dont wear it. I know my Grandpa wears it when he works outside on a sunny day. He gets some black eyeliner and outlines the circumfrence of his eyes. It reduces the glare, so he dosnt squint really hard.

This is weird. I've actually been planning to do this. I realise I couldn't wear stuff while working, but on the weekends painting a few (Im thinking alternating) fingernails would be cool.

And after watching Rome Season 2, a guy wearing eyeliner can look bad ass. Just look at Mark Antony, all drugged up and egyptian.

So I vote yes, wear it. But I concede its still not the normal thing, so expect to be questioned and/or excluded by a lot of narrow minded people.
