My problem with it is that it's an attention grab. Anyone that needs something like this has a weak or flawed personality, while they might be a lovely person I'd never consider relying on them. I probably wouldn't even befriend them as I need to know my friends are secure in themselves.

The closest I got to wearing makeup was drawing a swastika on my forehead to inspire anarchy in high school, just had a bunch of ignorant asses calling me a nazi. How I miss the days of being tortured for just being myself. Oh wait... that still happens. Thankfully not as often.

No, I don't. And frankly, I find it pretty unnecessary for anyone. Yeah, my girlfriend looks nice when she's wearing makeup, but she looks great without it too. However, don't let me stop you. Be you, and screw anyone who tries to say otherwise.

Actually, makeup makes all the difference when performing onstage or in a film. If you ever perform, the first thing they'll make you do is put on some form of makeup be it eyeliner, lipstick, or that powder stuff that I can't remember the name of.

I am a man and am thinking of start buying those kits to cover skin imperfection (the 30s are just around the corner allready), as my skin looks horrible. Just hope not having an alergic reaction otherwise I will look even worse.

Get a waterproof eyeliner or a liquid one. Although no matter how good your eyeliner is, you always need to touch it up during the day, it' pretty much impossible to make it last all day.

Anyway, I'm a girl so I really have no opinion on guys who wear makeup. Do it if you want, I can so you should be able to as well.

Although, I just read that you were in middle school and most girls don't even wear makeup then.
Isn't that like 12-13? Why would you need makeup that young?

actually a lot of girls like to wear makeup in my school, not very much though. usually just some eyeliner and foundation. some wear maskera as well, but i'm really no good at recognizing any kind as of now.

as for needing it, i don't have to wear it, in fact it would probably be easier for me if i didn't. but i think it looks cool and most people are indifferent about so i think i'll keep it up for now.

Meh do what ya do with paint or cleaning products, try it on a small covered area first. If it melts the floor/carpet/your face, stop using it.

This might have been a bit harsher than i would phrase it, but this.

I mean, it seems like the only reason you're even doing this is because of the fact that these boys are making fun of you. You say you're doing it becuase "we live in overly sexualized society" but I don't really buy it. I mean, power to you if you feel like this is the actual cause, but it seems more like you're trying to fit into this role.

Whatever, its not my place to judge. But as Catchphrase said it, these are pretty much the reasons why I would never, ever wear make up.

I do not include "metrosexuals" into my definition of "man" so I will not include homosexuals either.

I have nothing against any sexual preference in specific, like I don't have anything against emo or scene kids...

I already agreed that there is are anatomical similarities, obviously... Har har. But beyond that, the mentality of a gay man is extremely far from what I think is a "man".

Yeah, I've worn makeup though I don't make a habit of it. It doesn't make you any less of a man (or boy).

If you want to keep it from smudging or coming off, you need to apply a light amount of eye-shadow primer and work it into your creases. Add a dusting of loose powder then apply your eyeliner and you should be ready to go. It can be rather pricey though.

earlier this week i started wearing eyeliner to school, which has been met with a general chorus of "are you wearing makeup?" and a general reply of "yeah, what of it?" to another question "why" and another reply of "i felt like, just like you decided to not bring common sense to school today."

weirdly none of the teachers have said anything, its mostly just jerks who thing they're WAAY more awesome then they are. which is to say they think they're awesome at all.

anyway i've been wondering if there are other boys that wear makeup, and stuff. so ya feel free to go on a rant about men only wanting women to wear makeup because we live in overly sexualized society, or whatever comes to mind. i thought it would be an interesting topic. so anything you think is interesting about makeup at all is good.

also is there a way to make eyeliner stay on longer? by the end of the day its always rubbed off and i'm to embarassed to ask anyone else

Wearing makeup as a guy in middle school takes balls of STEEL. I certainly didn't have that kind of confidence in middle school.
