Love it! I missed you Matt Smith!

The shark ate the Screwdriver,
the psychic paper broke.
And fish swimming in the fog!
Along with riding a shark with a carrage through the sky!

"I have a tie, I wear it because I like it. That's why it's cool"

"It's either this or go back to your room and design a new Screwdriver. Don't make my mistakes!"

New series looks fantastic!

"12 Jammy Dodgers and a Fez"

"I wear a Stetson now. Stetsons are cool!"

What did everyone think of it?
I liked the bit where everything went insane! Which was most of it!

I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I could have let myself cry at one or two points, but I didn't, because I was watching it with other people >.>

I enjoyed it alot more than the other Christmas specials, it was much more Christmas-centric.
That and there was no Kylie Minogue!
I also really want a fog shark now.

EDIT: I also love Michael Gambon.

Why jump the shark when you can harness it and ride off into the snow filled sky.

Didn't a whole load of nasty creatures appear last time someone touched their past self owing to the whole paradox imploding time itself thing?

A little bit twee for my liking but pretty good

Yup, with christopher eccleson and billie piper (believe spelling may be off a little)

My only problem is that its a christmas carol and thats basically the thing for christmas, but it was great nonetheless :D

He had a fez for one christmas I swear

EDIT: crap forgot about the trailer for next series... :(

The Blinovich Limitation is a little 'flexible'.
A little bit twee for my liking but pretty good
It's a Xmas episode though. You'll never remove the twee from Christmas, but you can make sure there's a good reason for it there.

Far more Christmassy than any of the other Xmas episodes, and just far better because IT SET UP WHY IT WAS.

That's what always killed the other ones.

That's my main problem with Stephen Moffatt's taking control of this series They're such a great monster to let go to waste, yet series 5 has let them pass on several occassions. The new series trailer has a certain someone in a beard that would cause them to arrive too, but seems they're being swept under the carpet.

I'm guessing our new head writer just doesn't like them.

OT: A great episode. Some fantastic returning themes and jokes, especially about the rewritting of time. Ghost of Christmas Future was such a well-handled section, and some fantastic Christmas Carol nods - the "surplus population" especially :D

Next series: Absolutely wonderful.

That's kinda been glazed over at this point ;)
But last time they had already created a paradox by saving Pete Tyler.

Heh, I loved it, even though it was a fair bit cheesy.
Though in the new series, although it all seems AWESOME, the America part is something I could do without. It's always been in Britain and I'd like to keep that tradition.
Still prefer David Tennant unfortuantly, though.
