you mean I'm not up-to-date!? How many episodes has it been since Day of The Moon? And here I thought that Australia got the episodes at the same time as everyone else!

I refer you to scarfacetehstag for all the unending things which were terrible with this episode but I would add the CPR as a point of consideration. blatant case of did not do the research: she didn't hold his nose so the breaths wouldn't have gone in. she did about 3 pats per cycle, compressions are just that. Plus they made a big deal of her not ever giving up: she gave up after 30 seconds! CPR takes ages! You keep going 'til you physically can't any more! And that's not usually enough, you need medical equipment and defibs and so on usually.

Which brings me to another salient point: they were on the TARDIS! did the doctor not have any medical equipment at all on his 'size of a planet' spaceship? It's not like partial drowning is very serious, a 70s hospital would have fixed him up fine. I know it's only one thing, but it was such a major plot point they had no right to screw it up, someone in the studio must have known how to do CPR properly. Let's hope that Rory dies next episode due to secondary drowning. Really really awful episode.

It was...grand. Not one of my favourite episodes but it was entertaining. A pretty substantial step away from the opening two-parter.

Too many plot points and story arcs, my brain is in danger of asploding. Maybe next week one of them will be explained!
I agree, Moffat is making the over-arching story-line just a tad too convoluted for my liking.

EDIT: Actually, I kinda wonder if there's some very subtle things we're missing, like when the Doctor shows up with his jacket during the Angels episodes last season, even though the Angels had his jacket. Anyone notice some small things like that yet?
Wasn't that becuase he travelled back with the cracks in the season finale and for a brief amount of time there was two of him? (If you mean when he was talking to amy, saying to remember what he told her when she was younger)
That is precisely what I mean--some small, little event that might slip by the wayside that comes back to make absolute sense of something slightly off, and to make us feel mildly silly if we missed it. Something subtle, that might be explained in another later episode.

Oh right sorry, I mis-understood you, but now that I re-read it I see what you mean.
