It was wuite a lot like Cold Blood, actually.

I think EPL would be more scary if she wasn't in the trailers, tbh.

I may try to create some sort of internet meme based on either the EPL or the quote "I've got get to that cockerel before all hell breaks loose".

Not the best episode, not the worst. Certainly one of the most disturbing, as the uncanny valley came to reside completely within this episode, making it not just uncomfortable but almost annoying to see the not-quite-human faces. It was a good episode and all, and I can't help but wonder that Doctor will get his shoes back from his clone, as unsettling as that kind of is. My only contention for most of the episode, beyond how I find them creepier than the Silence, was:

"But you would never have a facility like that for handling acid! The pipes are all wrong! There's a preposterous lack of safety equipment and designated accident management procedures! And the ventilation and decay of the ruins practically propagate disaster happening! ARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!"

I'm an engineer. These things get to me. :/

I thought as far as episode premises go this was a good one. I found a lot of the charecterisation of the acid workers not quite up to par and I think they had the Doc being far too mysterious for his own good.

I'll put my hand up and say I saw the end cliff hanger coming a mile away but it does raise some interesting questions.

I've just noticed that people have hypothosised about this ganger Doctor being the one who gets killed off at the start of the series but we shall see, although this may be one of those 'for shadowing' episodes like Amy's Choice was for Rory's death, maybe this is foreshadowing some sort of Doctor cloning type milarky... We'll see...

P.S. I thought Rory was great in this episode, but then again he's been doing fab all series!

Eh...I expected a bit more, but that's fine.

I hope this story arc is worth the two part...it doesn't feel like the plot is going anywhere.

It was a GREAT episode, the best of the season, I think. I like how the story line finally got a little normal, still too many unanswered questions. The eyepatch lady, would be nice if she was a little more subtle..When the planets dissapeared with David and Donna (series 4), it was hard to catch on, but it was there! Next week looks like lots of thrillers! Can't wait!

i personally think that it was one of the best episode's of Doctor Who & my favourite, i don't get everyone's problem's with it.

The pyschology of the flesh reminded me of frankenstein's monster with the similarities that they are shunned by soceity and because of their predjudices want revenge for their actions against them. My favourite part was the bonding between Rory & ganger Jennifer(rather have her than amy btw) as it gave a depth to her & the flesh that ended up when miranda ruined it all by killing ganger buzzer had me shouting 'NO.. why, you've ruined it, i know throw her to the dogs, an eye for an eye', as i hope she dies the other's live.

FUCKING CLIFFHANGERS!!

A. Cliffhangers are almost always awesome.
B. That said, I am getting sick of the two-parters this season. What happened to finishing a plot in one episode?
C. Seriously, how the flying FUCK is the Eye Patch Lady? I mean, this show has always foreshadowed some aspect of the finale, and I can only assume this is that, but....I...just...What the fuck??

Anyone else think that maybe this is the origin of the Nestene Consciousness.
I had that thought too. Well, maybe not the origin, maybe just a big chunk of the thing. I mean, that's basically what happened with...um...Gonna go with Mickey...in the pilot, right? A living copy that could only maintain itself if the original was alive?

Oh wow, it's exactly like that....Yeah, it's gotta be the Nestene Consciousness.

I see people complain about waiting a week to see the conclusion of a small story arc, but the next 2 parter will have a waiting period of 3 months. 3 MONTHS! I hate 2 part seasons.

While not as good as the last episode, it was better than the one before with the pirates. However, it was fairly predicable but was able to introduce a nice moral dilemma.
