A Hermit's Cave
... *headdesk*

Well, that's what you get when the ITV is the only terrestrial channel that doesn't have a mandate to make 'good TV' (though strangely, all the channels seem capable of making pure *derp*).

knowing nothing of this channel (live in the us, we have IFC), but seeing that it means independent television, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that they dont get a lot of funding and most of their stuff looks like indie college stuff.

otherwise thats hysterical.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA. Oh wait, you're serious. ITV is one of the main tv channels in britain. There are five of them

BBC1
BBC2
ITV (they also have 4 different channels and were voted as one of the most popular)
Channel 4
Five

They make aridiculous amount of money from stuff like X factor and Britains Got Talent.
Like i said, not a british citizen.
But you can read? From the OP:

To our overseas friends, ITV is a major commercial public service TV network here in the UK, with a now ironic name. They were one of the main television channels in the analogue days.
Unless of course he added that later.

OT: Heh, well ITV have always been the televisual equivalent of The Sun so I'm not really surprised by this at all.

First thought: This either shows the game is extremely realistic, or the editor, director and producer are extremely thick.

After watching the footage: The editor, director and producer are extremely thick.
The CEO of Bohemia Interactive said himself that it serves as a sort of strange appreciation of the game's realism, but come on.
It really isn't that realistic. The models are very stiff.

I think the creators of the game paid these guys off to put the footage in, and then claim it was an accident, so the game makers could say: "Look how realistic our game is."

Or the documentary crew is extremely thick...or they didn't even think to look for any sign it was a video game.

The only time video-game footage should be used for documentaries is when it's the most efficient way of portraying whatever you want to portray. Note, Total War.
