As much as I've enjoyed this generation of games I can't help but feel kind of let down because of the lack of cheat codes. Some games like GTA and Saint's Row still have them but I would love nothing more than to go through Halo Reach with an unlimited-ammo-Sniper-Rifle and, Magnum (I know I can do this in firefight but it's just not the same to me). I also don't see why Big-Head mode couldn't have been incorporated into Dragon Age or, squeaky voices/ deep voices for Mass Effect. Or a mode in which the citizens of Italy went on rampages, hunting and, beating and, killing each other in Assassins Creed 2 (like the crazy pedestrian cheat from GTA)
Some games, like I said, still have cheats but using them disables achievements which really isn't much of a deterrent but it's still somewhat annoying. I mean even if you do go through Halo 3 on Legendary and, invincible you won't feel half as accomplished as you would if you had gone the normal route.
So does anyone else miss Cheat Codes? I guess this is mainly aimed at console gamers since PC games always seem to have entire communities of people who modify games and whatnot >.>
