Does anyone else do this or am I just sad?

Sometimes when I'm bored or think I have been really clever or funny when I post a comment on a site, I like to go back and see if anyone has quoted me or commented on it. Does anyone else do that or am I just clinging to scraps that maybe someone will validate my existence on a website I don't even care about?

EDIT: I'm not only talking about on the escapist, I do it on sites like youtube and I-am-bored all the time

Yeah, I do it sometimes. Both to see if people agree with me and to see if anyone argued against me so I can post a rebuttal.

I posted a comment on a youtube video I thought was quite witty, came back and low and behold, a bunch of people had thumbs up'd it.

I guess others agreed. Clearly they have an eye for their betters.

OT: Sometimes I do. I have quote notifactions[sp?] on so I always know when I've been quoted.
