Does anyone else do this or am I just sad?

Yeah, I do it all the time, which is why I love that this site tells me when I get quoted.

I love getting quoted personally it makes my life seem worth while.

There, I just made your life worth living. The only time I don't like being quoted is when people are quoting me because they dissagre with me. It's not that I don't like arguments (I guess from that you could call me a troll) and I infact enjoy having the oppourtunitie to learn from my mistakes and see how others see the world. I just hate it when they flat out say somthing like "ur supid just go kil urselv" or only quote me to sorrect my spelling/grammar. Although I would not mind someone letting me know what times to use a semi colon.Edit: Now I'm sad noone quoted me.

I wish I knew the proper rules behind the semi-colon also.

A semi-colon is used to separate two complete sentences instead of using a period or a comma follow by certain words(Like for and nor but etc.)...I just took Eng 111 and my teacher drilled that shit into my head.

Also, a semicolon can be used as a longer pause. Like a badass comma or something. I drop semicolon's all the time.

Just not in this post.
