Does anyone else think Duke Nukem Forever will suck balls of steel?

Anyways, it COULD be a very good game, but I doubt it. The problem being that it's been, what? Fifteen years? Most likely, it will be completely different from the old Duke Nukem games(duh). Plus, since it really doesn't have any new games to base off of, they're pretty much starting from scratch. That means, either it will have good, but repetetive gameplay; or they will try something new which screws up the gameplay. Either way is bad.

First, who give a flying-fuck about multiplayer? The only multiplayer online I play is Left 4 Dead, and that's because I have a thing for co-op. Multiplayer deathmatches mostly suck otherwise.

Second, after 13 long years of development, good or not, I'm still getting it. It's like a trophy almost. If it's good, all the better.

Third, yes, a meme/vaporware joke will die. Hopefully others will follow suit.

BTW if the gameplay actually does suck balls of steel YOU WILL STILL LIKE IT because of the rule of cool they seem to completely pull off which is the entire point of the franchise anyway, unless the trailer contained all the high points of the game which is not entirely impossible but heres optimistic.

Hello,
I got the escapist today, and I saw something that made me die inside... Duke Nukem Forever was going to be realeased. I was pissed. How could they do such a thing??? But my anger about how the biggest videogame joke in history was about to die soon faded, and I proceded to watch the trailer. And I was not impressed by any aspect what so ever. The graphics were meh, the gameplay looked complicated and boring, and it seems to emphasis tits and male genitalia too much. If you ask me the entire thing looks like a fucking joke. It is my belief that the 9 guys still working on it just rushed through and put as many tits in the game as possible. (Not that I'm saying tits are bad, but they are only nice to a certain extent, espically in video games.)

But lets seriously look at this,

If you asked me, I would say they need to take another year on the game, and then realease it. But the thing I really hate about it is how it is selling for full price. I would never by it, unless the game is exceptional in every aspect.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. But to me, the game should have remained like it's name. DNF.

I agree. I think it looks out dated already.

Not necessarily a bad thing, because the average FPS is best described as Blandy McTestosteroine's Brownish-Grey Explosionfest. A game that already makes fun of itself for me stands out quite a bit.

For me it looks ultra super fun. It is stupid, loud, violent, and crude and I wouldnt want Duke any other way. The one thing that I do not like is that it seems that you can only carry two guns which is a shame because I want my piss weak starting pistol next to my nuke launcher.

Actually, I don't care if it's lame or not. I'm freaking tired of all these stereotypical boring extremely serious protagonists who either have no personalities, are total emos, or has some missing love interest subplot and never shut the hell up about it. I don't want another space marine clad in enough metal to build a house. And I'm sick of this freaking lame regenerating health. This is why DNF should be a treat, as well as Bulletstorm. Ridiculously over the top insane action that involves everything exploding at one point or another iced with plenty one liners and humor.
Even if the game sucks, It's good to have something that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Which it probably won't, because it looks FREAKING AWESOME.
