Does anyone else watch Code Geass? (Spoiler warning for discussions)

Just asking because I recently finished watching it and thought it was really good, but sadly when I come to the forums here it seems the only series anyone here watch are either Death Note or Hellsing (I have watched neither though in hindsight I probably should have).

But yeah, anyone else watch it? I like the whole idea of the Holy Britainnian Empire. For those of you who haven't watched it it's basically if the UK and the Americas were one big nation ruled by a monarchy (ooh, and their military is comprised mostly of mechs) and the main character, Lelouch, is the 70-somethingth in line for the throne (he's the emperor's son, yeah, his dad gets around) and is banished to the now Brittanian occupied Japan(area 11).

Long story short(and at the same time managing to quote code MENT), there's some of the Brittanian military left over occupying the country, there's still some underlying remnants of the old Japanese army and there are some rebel forces looking up to Lelouch after [SPOILERS! WATCH SEASON 1 EPISODE 1 & 2 FOR DETAILS].

I enjoyed Season 1. I only watched the first ep of season 2 though. I'd like to finish it all, and I hear they're working on a third season based in the feudal era and deals more with the Geass.(I've read no official confirmation on this, just heard it through the bush.)

Yep!! Watched it and loved it!! The ending would have been amazing had I not seen naruto and kinda saw that comming.

It is my favorite anime, My favorite. I have only watched the series onces but i LOVE IT.

Yeah, Lelouch is a pretty weird name I'll admit, though the Emporer was probably just experimenting with syllables after the first few kids!

I didn't like it at first but it gets REALLY good by about episode 8

And yes, I have seen it. It was very good, a very good ending too. Although I hear they may continue it which might put the ending to the 'well fuck it' pile.

I was being sarcastic. I've seen it. Im fairly certain the same amount of people who have seen deathnote and maybe even more so than have seen hellsing have seen it, since it was the backbone of AS's sanimeday line up (saturday anime).

Yes. I loved it. Every minuet up until the last episode. Still dont understand why it had to end like it did. Seems like that last bit could have all been solved by Lelouch not being a dick but whatever.

I've watched it, yeah. Really good series and I for one like both seasons and the ending. Something I really like about the show is the over-the-top hammyness of most of the characters. It's silly but also awesome.

In all seriousness though, yeah I have and I rather enjoyed the first series, but the new series is just bullshit in new exciting flavours of bullshit. I stopped around the 15th episode because the plot was such dribble, and went on to watch better anime.

Somewhat relatedly, my housemate says there's a lot of yaoi stuff about it. He wouldn't tell me what that meant. After a google search I was left with an, "I asked for that" moment.

I watched up until about the middle of the second season. Then AS had a production gap in the episodes and I forgot to tune back in when it started airing again. T_T

I really should go back and finish it sometime. It's a pretty great series.

It's one of my favourite anime series. Great story and great characters and the world is just close enough to ours to make you think... TOTALLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE! especially all those people who say that anime is for little kids.
