Yep I've watched it and really enjoyed it. Several of my friends think the same. Although if I was Lelouch I would use the geass for sexytime.

Yep, watched it and enjoyed it thoroughly, made me all nostalgic for my teen years when i used to watch shows like that.

So i'm watching Darker Than Black at the minute, and i can't help but feel these shows are aimed at the shonen crowd, but for some reason i'm really enjoying them.
Darker than Black is fan-fucking-tastic! The Best anime in the last five years or so.

The story arcs, The characters, everything just screams class.
This. Well. Part of it. Darker Than Black is ONE of the best. Outlaw Star still holds that title for me anyways with Soul Eater in third.

I've seen Code Geass when Adult Swim aired it, like most Anime. It was entertaining.
Darker Than Black: Gemini of the Meteor comes out Nov. 8. I'm so ready for it, buying the box set. Darker Than Black is one of my all time favorites along with Code Geass, which I hold above almost all other anime.

nope never heard of this Code... how do you pronounce it? Geese? Sounds interesting through to be sure. What with this le - louch (rather odd to see a character name that rhymes with couch in an anime.
you are pronouncing it wrong, but its understandable. it IS a strange name. it actually rhymes with ''douche'', kind of a french sort of name. and also ironic as he is a major asshole :)
I'll refer you <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.320956-Does-anyone-else-watch-Code-Geass#13120612>here, but suffice to say I was being sarcastic just to see who calls me on it.

Yes, a good deal of it.. but I grew frustrated with it and stopped watching it. The writer seemed to be trying to make out a character whose real life counterpart is a french nazi traitor and conspirator was in the right.

Ah yes, the Geass is indeed a great anime. I watched it on AS around the same time I saw Death Note (on AS) and I've always enjoyed the contrast between LeLouche and Light Yagami.

one of the better mecha & magic shows i've seen. i recommend you (all) watch a subtitled run. the japanese vocals are vastly superior... Lelouch doesn't sound like an emo-fuck-nugget! and neither does anyone else :)

Saw it and fucking loved it. The ending of the second series was, whilst not entirely unexpected given the mood of the whole series, was still fantastic in that horrible sad way. I just hope they don't mess it all up with the third series.

Holy Shit YES!!!!

My absolute favourite anime. I don't much like animes like evangelion with mechs and stuff but this one had just the right mix of supernatural, in-depth story and mechs to make it interesting. It's a little Tarintino-esque between the seasons but once you get fully into season 2 it's awesome. I encourage everyone who hasn't finished it to see the ending.

Seriously, if you like in depth strategy and supernatural powers that allow one to control peoples' minds then you'll love it. Best plot, best characters, best ending. Although I do think too many people died. :(

Also, a note: The third season is based on Lelouch's ancestor/decendant (I'm not sure which) who CC tries to give Geass to but he gets cursed instead (gets a metal arm that likes killing people or something).

I loved it, and it in combination with Death Note have influenced me quite a bit; perhaps you should make a Code Geass thread with a spoiler disclaimer in the title so that discussion could be held on it.

It's funny you say you don't hear people here talk about it. About a year ago there was a big Code Geass boom. Similar to the Elfen Lied boom before it. But back on topic, yeah I've seen it. And I thought it was a great series, action, suspense, and everything else you could want.

I loved it, but it gets pretty crazy near the end. It's also super melodramitic. Am I the only o...er...I promised myself I'd never start a sentence like that, so uh, I liked the ending of the series, it seems that many other people did not, I wonder if the internet contains other people that liked the ending. See, that was way to long, I should go with the cliches...

Yeah I've seen it which I thought it's good but I wouldn't exactly watch it again (since the suspense is gone). I didn't like how season 2 had acted out (all I can say is I dislike the ending).

a man (or lady?) after my own heart, DTB is LEGENDARY, and im on like the 3rd last episode of Soul Eater at the time of writing. is Outlaw Star really that good? i was kind of off-put because it looks very dated. i mean, i cant even watch DBZ anymore....anime does not age well it seems. I would also like to add Black Lagoon, probably my personal favorite anime, and also Monster, which im really into. oh and D-Gray Man.
God I forgot about D-Gray Man.

Outlaw star is pretty dated look wise but it had a good story and some pretty funny moments, hell the main character is afraid of flying. Granted these are all words spoken from behind nostalgia glasses so take that with a pinch of salt.

Give her a peak.

I finished watching this like two weeks ago. And I loved it.
Although, in my own opinion, I preferred the first season than the second one. The second one was way too gritty and depressing, especially after <spoiler=Don't click on this unless you got past episode 15>Shirley died. Man that scene was depressing.
