Water sections in games don't usually scare me as much as they piss me off. Although there is one cave in Oblivion where you can swim very far down and encounter a giant Slaughterfish. That thing creeps me out, it's large, angry, and the water is dark.

In game hieghts. I get nervous when My character has to jump onto little floating squares of safety and dies horribley if any mistake is made, which is sure to happen cause I get so nervous. I blame the game Shadow Warrior for that shit.

The one thing that makes me very nervous in games is when enemies are at a higher level than me. I hate when I'm lower than them, especially in FPSs, since I feel like I'm being surrounded and suffocated.

I find myself filled with dread every time when, in a Silent Hill game, I know it's time to head over to Alchemilla Hospital.

I hate monster closets. Anything that jumps out at me will get a face full of shotgun pellets, but I don't like them jumping out at me in the first place.

Oh yeah, any sort of hospital or asylum.

I don't think I have ever been in an in game medical center that hasn't been horrifying as the lowest circles of hell itself.

open fields. i would actually feel more comfortable in a enclosed area in a game because i could see something coming from all sides easily and it would be in range for some hurt.

I hate walking into dark rooms, because I always know there's SOMETHING hiding right beside the doorway...

Especially when it's a level that does that every second room. I get very into games I play and I'm not exactly brave.

Escort missions. Every time I play a game, I have a standing fear I will have to lead a stupid useless character to safety to progress the story line, and failure and/or skipping is not an option.

The Our Lady of Hope hospital in fallout 3 was particularly creepy for me, only it should have been filled with ghouls with their mouths sewn shut so they wouldn't scream when they saw you also it should have had baby carriage mines after every 3 9 and 15th corner, odd numbers if you started counting it would creep the fuck out of you at the time (at least it would me)

god i hate escort missions. the worst bits of resi 4 were when zombies were coming at you and ashley. you would run but ashley would just stand there like a plonker and allow herself to get taken away. all while doing that annoying scream.
rant over.
