Does anyone not hate the Transformers movie

It seems like every member of the Escapist has a strong hatred towards Michael Bay's Transformer movies, and while I understand they are not the greatest interpretation of the series, I wouldn't call them garbage. So Escapist does anyone actually like these movies or are they just that awful.

The first one wasn't one that I really disliked, although it did get far less entertaining the second time around.

The second one was just terrible.

I liked the first movie.
And I liked the second for it's robot battles 'n junk.


But the second Mega-tron began kissing the ass of 'The fallen' in the second movie, the point of the first movie was completely lost. Who's the fallen, and who the hell put him in charge?


The second movie made the first movie just a pointless series of events.

OT: I enjoyed them. They weren't phenomenal but I don't regret the time lost watching them.

First one was alright but the second one was terrible. A good way to find out who has bad taste in movies though!
