I moderately enjoyed the first one and really didn't like the piece of shit that was Revenge of the Fallen.

We hate it because it's just horrible filmaking. The adaptioon complaints are NOTHING compared to the overall filming and writing. It's just ass. The few redeeming things are crushed under god awful writing. I really liked Transformers as a kid . . . now I just wonder why? The goddamn cartoon movie had better writing.

Fucking Michael Bay.

Don't believe me? Watch these:

I liked the first one, especially the ending with Starscream flying into space :3 *drools* But the second was ok.

I have only seen the first one. Here's the thing, I am a big fan of bad action movies, and I categorize that movie as a bad action movie because it feels like the plot connects one awesome robot fight to the next.

So I like it because it's terrible.

I liked the first one.

The second was ruined by bad attempts at comedy and the sudden need to curse every 5 seconds. They got through the first movie without cursing every 5 seconds. Why couldn't they have done the same for the second?

Otherwise it would have been fine.

I actually enjoyed both movies. I probably preferred the first, but I didn't dislike the second.
Me and you both. I mean it isn't Gone With the Wind, but neither was Avatar and people still nutted their pants over that 3 hour sleeporama.

Time to earn some hate, I liked most of transformers 1 and 2 just for the action alone. The story was alright and some scenes (When he was trying to hide them from his parents) were unwatchable but both were great action movies.

I don't care about the transformer shows it's another telling of the same story. The only one I watched was Beast Wars as a kid and that show was cool too ...from what I recall.

I didn't dislike Transformers 2 as much as alot of people. Maybe cause I kinda guessed what I'd be in for when I saw it. It had robots fighting and stuff exploding, and that's what I expected.

first one was alright, im not the HUGEST transformers fan so it didn't bug me or anything, the second one had some pretty decent parts, but overall it wasn't that good...personally i've recognized i have low standards on just about everything, so its not too hard to please me, but there are some very good reasoning behind some peoples dislike for the 2nd one, i see so many people going "RAGE.BAD.RAGE. DID NOT STICK TO ORIGINAL!!!!!" but there are some definite good arguements and i can see what they mean, the 2nd one definitely was a slap in the face to transformers in general.

I think it comes down to what you are expecting. I went in to them expecting to see stuff blow up. I didn't have high hopes for anything more than that, and I enjoyed them. Maybe when you go see the third one (if you do), then you should stop expecting things like plot and depth.

I saw the first one after watching the second, I was actually pleasantly surprised. I hated the second one but really enjoyed the first.

Hate's a strong word, but they weren't good movies by any means.
HATE is the only word that can define the atrocity. My childhood was DESTROYED here.
How can a movie destroy your childhood Mr Melodrama?

I enjoyed them. Although I will agree that they should've been more centred around the Transformers themselves, and not LeBouf's character.

I liked the first one, but only in the theater. Without a big screen and huge speakers it looses a lot. The second one was just like movie bob said.

Whenever Shia LaBouef isn't on screen, the first Transformers movie is OK.
Revenge of the Fallen...well...it has 80 minutes of senseless, stupid, stereotypes for padding in a mediocre 2 hour action movie.

And the rest of the movie still has Shia LaBouef, who honest can't act for shit, second only to Megan Fox.

Few movies annoy me so often. I knew it was scraping the bottom of the barrel when I started seriously thinking "Well, at least he's not Paulie Shore".
