Does anyone sleep with a plushie/pillow/item of sentimental value?

I don't have any stuffed animals with me but I do sleep with this blanket that my gf got me. Note I don't use it as an actually blanket i just ball it up and hold it as I sleep. I've found that it really does help me sleep at nights. I see no problems sleeping with a sentimental object of any kind.

I have a chibiratsu plushie on my be but the thing is so cheap one of the wing things almost snapped off.

I have a crogunk at home. My sister really wants it for some reason.

No, I really wish I did have a pony like OP though. I used to though, I've always had trouble getting to sleep, even when I was a wee tike, and stuffed critters would help. Unfortunately now all they do is bug me and I can't sleep with something like that.

I don't sleep with any, but I do have a stuffed Snivy that I got for my birthday and a stuffed Red Whale I won at the fair right next to me on the couch I always sit on. They are nice to have near me.

I am actually shocked by how many people still have plushies or teddies for some kind and how much everyone is okay with that. You rock, Escapist.

Me? I've only got the one thing like that, also a Pony thing. A friend of mine started crafting and making her own fancy-dress so she made me a derpy Fluttershy for my birthday, which I have named Flootershai and she guards my stack of books. It just reminds me of all the times she and I used to sit about and invent our own worlds to submerse ourselves in when the real world was far too dull and dreary for us.

Until then, I've never actually had a stuffed toy of anything besides one gorilla toy my parents got me when I was first born.

I have a plush Luigi, around 20" tall, that's lived in my bed since my 11th birthday. My brother has a matching Mario. I've never seen another one the same as the ones we have.

Ive got a number of stuffed toys on my bed but probably the most sentimental is my 26 year old.. blue yellow and purple monster toy which mum got for me as a newborn and still survives to this day!

My wife still sleeps with a stuffed bunny I bought her on our second date. His name is Bat. When she was off to DragonCon and I was home alone I slept with him as well.

OT: I remember I had a few stuffed animals around my room when I was younger (I think I still have two of them stacked in my room somewhere now), but I don't think I ever used them to help me sleep soundly.

No, not really, all were either given away, buried, dropped to the currents of a river or burned, I don't know why but I never kept them for a long time, the only memento I carry is Blastoise coin thing that I have in my wallet next to my ID, it's an empty gesture though, as I don't remember why I put it there, and it has no real meaning, it's sort of strange because I never was a fan of Pokémon, and when I played it I went for Charmander, so I don't know what it's sentimental value is supposed to be, I'm half tempted to just throw it away.

I have 2 actually, both around 6 inches tall. The first is a small beige dog named Rufus which i have had since i was probably five. The second is some kind of bear... thing... made out of thick white Alpaca fur. I've only had that one for about a year or two and i've never really named it, but i just call it "Snow" incase i have to call him something.

I'm 15 years old and i still happily cuddle them in my bed.

I have quite a few. I've got two things I've always called "puffies" that are as old as I am, which have rattles in them. Started sleeping with them again (they were never far) a couple years ago when there was a lot of drama going on and haven't stopped. In addition to that, I currently have on my bed a large stuffed husky, a stuffed lion my girlfriend bought me at the zoo, a dog I made at Build-A-Bear, a wolf I bought at the Nat. His. Museum in NYC, Mugsy the TY and a little stuffed Chewbacca that the lover sent over as a present.

I sleep with my puffies and with Chewy every night, and I've started sleeping with the wolf (Kieran) as well. It's comforting.
