Does anyone sleep with a plushie/pillow/item of sentimental value?

I got a blow-up doll that I sleep with.

Nah, all I got is a pillow and a blanket.

Yes, I am 23 years old, and male and I will defend them with a Sabre.

I can't help it. I strongly believed they were alive when I was young and that has not left me yet.

I will replace them with a woman however when I get married.

Well if they are comfy and provide warmth, then sure.

I've got Ted, who my grampa had ready for me when I was born as well as my baby blanket. I sometimes still fall asleep holding them. Though ti's a bit different than when I was a kid as Ted usually ends up jammed between my boobs while I'm sleeping. Then his broken eye ends up jabbing and/or scraping me.

Edit: When I was little my parents were awesome. We had giant 4-foot Smurfs we'd fall asleep ON and an 8-foot blow-up Godzilla that sat in our playroom. Hard to sleep with that, though.

Just a teddy bear that my boyfriend gave me. :3 Well, that and a cuddly teddy I got for Christmas several years ago. There's also yet another bear that sits behind my pillow and a stuffed tiger to keep him company. And a giant stuffed dog at the end of my bed, but he always gets kicked off at night. There are also shelves attached to my bed that contain a plethora of various other plushies I've amassed over the years, but those don't really count because I don't sleep with them directly. And I have a quilt that's there for the sentimental value rather than warmth, so...

Blame it on my stay in a children's hospital.

It would be disastrous if you rolled over and broke your ipod and dsi..

Plushies?

No, but I do have an old pillow with print of the norwegian flag on it that has served as my headpillow for the last 13 years. I find it hard to sleep well with any other pillow. It just has this perfect balance between support and softness that is just right for me.

Yep, some have gone missing sadly but the most cherished ones are still there.

Some would have you believe you should get rid of them or you'll grow up to be a wuss. Well I never did so to them I say: if you truly believe that, try to come and take them from the wuss.

I have quite a few plush items that live on and around my bed. There is a companion cube, 4 giant microbes (The Rhinovirus, E-Coli, MRSA and Streptococcus pyogenes). Finally there is Mr Hugs, my alien face hugger.
Haha, I got my fiance the giant microbe Rhinovirus and she loves it.

My fiance has a Mario plush question block on her side of the bed, and I have a P226 under my pillow :/ ...I lived in Baltimore for 22 years, don't judge me.

Well... I haven't sleept with some item of sorts since I was a kid... I remember'd sleeping with my favorite toy shovel for some reason when I was around 6 years old, but that's the last I can remember.

I was a weird kid.

I have a Snuggles puppet/toy. I used to sleep with him but now he resides in the bureau so he doesn't fall apart anymore. I'm a heavy, roll-around sleeper. I have a stuffed Yoshi but he hangs out with the stuffed Angry Birds+pig on my bookcase.

I still have my first ever Teddy Bear. He's called Pob and he's a Polar Bear. I've had him since I was a couple of months old and I still have him even now that I'm 21. He is also neck-cushion shaped so that's nice too.

Right. I need to go de-gay myself after that confession.

I used to, but I put them in safe keeping to keep them in good condition. The only one that stays out is the teddy bear my girlfriend gave me for valintines day. Speaking of her, she keeps some on her bed, with the teddy bear I gave HER for valintines day right on the top closest to her head.
