I still have a cassette tape console in the garage that probably still works. I used to use it up until 2006. Still got a few cassette games for it. I also have one of the Pong game consoles with the weird square controls on either side of a rectangular box that you plug into your tv (of which is not compatable with now-a-day tv connections.

I still play my N64 for Pokemon Stadium 2, Mario Kart, Goldeneye and Super Mario 64, and my Genesis for Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic 2

Stayed up until 5am on NYE with some friends playing Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. I'd also like to get my hands on a Gameboy Colour and a Dreamcast.

I've been playing on my gamecube rather frequent, and not to long ago I picked up an Atari 7800, and I have to say that I rather do enjoy it- although for some reason the controls from when I play my 2600 games work better...

as for game quality, I'm inconclusive on that. I will say I'm having fun trying to work my way through Pitfall though.. cursed alligators. Maybe I'm insane, but id rather play E.T. for the 2600 then some of the other games I've had in the past. mind you, its still a lose-lose depending on my mood, but at least I get some giggles out of E.T. ...then I fall in a pit.

The only old console I play is the PS2 for Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2.
Best. Star. Wars. Games. Ever. Period.
Oh c'mon did you ever play X-wing or Tie-Fighter? Those are incredible games.
Actually, no, I haven't. But I did forget to mention the KOTOR series...

Oh you bet your ass I bust out a N64 every now and then. I mostly enjoy playing a good round of Star Fox.

God, Tie-Fighter was THE best Star Wars game back in the day. Also among all of those I think Rouge Squadron II deserves a mention.

What did I trade in the PS2 and all the games for, again? Oh yeah, some shitty Wii game (that subsequently got traded in).
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

And yeah, I play PS2 a lot. It is, in my humble opinion, the finest console of all time, with enormous variety and generally the most cohesive union of graphics and gameplay.

I only played Star Wars X-Wing way back in the day but that game was phenomenal. This gen is really missing a good space combat game like that. Could you imagine 24+ player Star Wars X-Wing or Tie Fighter on a current gen system? GOTY easy.

I'm desperately trying to find a gamecube version of Twilight Princess, right now I'm sustaining myself by re-playing Wind Waker on GC and FFXII on PS2.

You need Super Metroid. Trust me on this.
Yeah, but I haven't found a cart yet. I'm working on it.

I'd also like to get Earthbound at some stage, but it'll be tricky as I have a PAL SNES :/

I still like to bust out the 'ol Sega Genesis/Sega CD and N64 from time to time. My old consoles are just as much fun now as they were when I was a kid!

I am planning on steering clear of the newer consoles... I'm more of a PC gamer now.

EDIT: If you will excuse me, this thread has amde me want to go play Vector Man. *powers up Sega Genesis*
