I have an HDMI cable connected from my computer to the telly so I watch movies and series on it even if it is from the computer.
My console games and sometimes sports, movies and some other shows that occasionally show up, at the moment every friday evening there's "The Voice of Finland" that I watch.

My TV is my monitor (a horribly impractical 42" monitor) , so it gets pretty heavy usage. Also, my Xbox would just be for really loud ambient noise without it.

I still use it for my xbox and Netflix streaming but... I haven't really watched TV recently. I don't keep up with weekly shows because I wait for them to come out on DVD so I can watch them back to back without waiting a week. Heck, I might cancel my TV service and just keep my internet now that I think of it.

I only use it for background noise.

And to watch NCIS and House. Occasionally American Dad/Family Guy when it gets late.

But otherwise no.

I use my TV as my PC monitor and use it for my 360. I never actually watch TV anymore though.

I play consoles on it, we watch films as a group around it. Sometimes it's nice just to put Dave on while I'm/we're eating or just hanging around the living room.

Yes. All the time.

My connection sucks ass, so I can't watch anything over the internet. And I don't have the financial means to just buy all the stuff I want to watch. Which is a LOT.

I do rent using Blockbuster though, but those take a while for delivery.

So yeah. I watch stuff on tv. Because that's the only way I have of, well, watching stuff.

For console gaming.
And the occasional episode of Nytt på nytt, which is pretty much Have I got news for you.

I think I stopped watching television in early 2009. Once every few months I flip by some channels to see if I feel tempted to go back. So far the answer is nope.

My tvs always on from when I get home til I go to bed, unless its the weekend where I set it to turn off. after I go to bed.
So many things to watch but all at horrible times and dates, everything should come on when I want it to.
I wish you could anything on the interne for free right at its released but until that I have 2 tvs, one for xbox the other for direct tv.

I know a guy who actually cut his TV off and just....acquires all his stuff from various places the next day. Saved him a big amount of cash too.

OT: Personally, I barely watch TV. Maybe 1 hour a couple times per week but that's about it. Nothing good's ever on TV anymore really. I watch maybe 4 shows all the time: Harry's Law, Two and a Half Men, Last Man Standing, and Alcatraz. But since my PC is in the living room literally right next to my mothers TV, I pretty much listen to more then i actually care to watch. (Not by choice, but hey our house is way too small to have everything where we want.)

I used to be a couch potatoes back in my High school years but not anymore (well I gues switch it for the PC).
Anyway the only reason I only use the TV to play my games and watch films is due to the fact there is no cable in my room that let me watch live tv shows. If there was a cable in my room I would watch the tv more oftern (I get bored quite often using the net).

I use it for my consoles really. I play games and watch video streaming services. The only time I actually watch regual tv is when sports are on.
