I'm quite good at clarinet, I play a little piano, and I play a very little bit of drums.

I'm in music college, with electric guitar as my primary instrument. Plu sI'm in a band where I play lead guitar and do some backing vocals. Here's a list of the "instruments" I play, in order (highest to lowest) of skill:

Electric Guitar
Growl-y Metal Vocals
Acoustic Guitar
Bass Guitar
Clean Vocals
Drums
Keyboard/Piano

And before there's a smartass who comments on acoustic and electric guitar not being any different, you are talking out of your arse, good sir and forward slash or madam. I'm not talking about playing an acoustic guitar like an electric guitar, I'm talking about playing stuff so it sounds good on an acoustic. For an electric guitarist who's not had much experience with acoustics, making every note clean and ring out can be much more difficult, and for an acoustic guitarist, playing an electric guitar can be frustratingly easy, and as such they find their fingers slipping from strings, or they lack good dynamic control.

So yeah, I'm a music nerd. :)

I play piano/keyboard (I would say I prefer the piano, though; I love the feel of the keys!) My dad also plays bass guitar and has been teaching me.

My portrait makes it obvious, but I also play snare and rock/jazz drum set... and trombone, sort of.

I guess an escapist could play an instrument as long as it was recreational and not academic or corporate. I personally play the guitar.

uilleann/kitchen/grand highland pipes, harp, concertina, flute ( tin, glass etc) biwa, shakuhachi, piano... Nothing professionally more for " the love of playing.. I can't read a damn note and go by ear, but love figuring out a new instrument...normally wont take long, but is a great way to relax. Even if it is strictly a side hobby.

Not sure how a website can play an instrument, but kudos for trying :)

As for me, however, I did try the violin but gave up. I want to learn the drums, but don't have time and can't afford a set of drumsticks or a set of drums. Plus I can't find anyone to teach me and internet video tutorials aren't that good...

P.S. If anyone says the accordion I will hunt you down and ram it down your throat. I can't stand the accordion. Anything else, fine, but not that... (shudder).
An escapist in this context is someone who distracts themselves' from society or even reality using entertainment or recreational activities. Not a website, silly willy.

As I quoted Trivun's reply, I will also quote yours. An escapist in this context is someone who distracts themselves' from society or even reality using entertainment or recreational activities. Not a website, silly willy.

I do know, I was simply making a joke, that several others had already made. I'm not stoopid :)

No, you really don't want to see that.

After the internet learns to independently create music, it will learn to do other things.

Like...

become self-aware.

Srry, I'm a stranger to sarcasm lately.
