1. Tell me a bit about yourself. No more than a paragraph. Talk about whatever you think is relevant, be it interests, or height, favorite Mass Effect manufacturer, whatever.
Well, you have a decent grasp of my interests and personality. Plus, it's also on my profile. I'm an insomniac, loyal friend, martial artist, and I enjoy helping other people most of all. Let's see... Kassa Fabrication. They make Colossi armour and some awesome weaponry too. That or the Geth, thanks to their Rage/Battlemaster/Berserker armours, and even though their Pulse Rifles aren't that good, they -are- cool. Pew pew.
2. What's your favorite part of the Escapist? Forums, videos, contests, advertisements, articles? Is there anything you'd like to do, but you're too afraid/unsure of how to try?
I would have to say the community as a whole. My love affair with the RP forum and the IRC channel has always been there, ever since I joined. It's also no secret I get along well with some of the staff members. Oh, and I watch most of the videos that get uploaded on the site.
3. If you could describe your life in music, how would you do it and why?
If I could, I would orchestrate an epic classical piece to bring nuance to all the changes that occur in a life. There is really no other way to do it justice in my opinion. It would begin in a steady pace with tantalising little sounds here and there to symbolise the birth of someone who would become a laid back but curious and deep dude.
Pretty soon, it would go into a darker change of tone to symbolise how my childhood wasn't the best, to put it simply, and later explode with heavy sounds and bass tones to symbolise how intense the pre-teens and adolescence were. After that, it would simmer down to resume the steady rhythm that was at the beginning to symbolise how I am now equilibrious and rather content.
4. Are you right or left-handed?
I am right-handed, but I hold the fork with my right. My grandmother is left-handed, so my mother learned from her and I from mother.
5. How are you feeling right now? (Don't knock it, it's a really important question. Feel free to go on at length.)
Er... it's complicated. I just ended something good in my life and I now have to face my greatest challenge yet. In going from nothing to max, I don't know if I will pull through, but I will give it my best.
6. Do you have a religious belief, and without going into too much argumentative detail, is it important to you?
Not religious, no. I suppose you could say that believing in the equilibrium of a larger state of things is a form of spiritual belief, though. I have taken much of what I find to be wisdom from Buddhism and Taoism. I believe you have to find yourself and be yourself if you are ever to be content in life, and, if you want to accomplish something, you have to be. Got to take care of yourself before you can help others, for instance. I have also found that emotional ties to things in life can tie you down a lot, so I avoid most of those, especially to material things.
Love is, for me, a huge natural force in the world, and it can bring out the endless potential in all of us if we allow it by motivating like nothing else. I have found that I am only content when I can work for what I believe is right and constructive, and I may be very blunt to that end. People seem to appreciate my honesty though, and it is good to not compromise who you are in favour of making things easier or selling yourself out. Those are some of my beliefs, and they are indeed very important to me. Whenever I feel lost, I look to my higher goals and my categorical imperatives. Bit long, but I do love discussing sociology, philosophy and psychology.
7. If you could go to a convention for any form of fandom, what fandom would it be. Do you have a specific convention in mind when you answer this question?
Considering I go to all kinds of conventions I can find, I suppose I could wish for RPG-focused convention with an overall theme of Vocaloids and Touhou. Hrm. Excuse me, have to restrain myself not to squee.
8. Finally, what's your favorite food item? Any particular drink or wine you like to go with it?
Hm, that may very well be oven-baked salmon fillet. So juicy and explosively flavorous. I usually just drink milk. Tons and tons of milk.
The tastiest drink on its own is probably a good scotch though. Nothing beats a 15-year Lagavulin or 20-year Ardbeg. With the salmon, I could definitely also go for a good red wine. Something from '95.

... Does this mean I have to meet your parents? Damn. Think they'll do steak for dinner when I go over?
Nah, that's quite alright. Mom would start to wonder about me if I brought home guys and girls too much. Although if it was to happen, mom's husband could very possibly make a nice steak, or salmon fillet. He's crazy about meat. ^_^
